Dilemma with a small corp and a POS!

So for a couple of weeks now i have been creating a corp from the ground up like you do..... but i seem to have hit abit of a wall in terms of corp expansion. Ive explored numerous avenues to get around this issue as i will detail below and none have the desired effect of offering corp members freedom with the POS whilst making sure security is not breached.

Atm we have 7 members which includes myself. We live in a system with no station and we are a mining corp. The corp offers a corp ore buy program where members put ore into there assigned hanger at the corp hanger array and then this is bought by the corp. Each member can only see there own assigned hanger, all is well, happy days right?

Well no.... so this is the wall im talking about. We have 7 members, 7 divisions. Corp is maxed? really? I could open up container within the POS which are named, but only cans with password hold nothing more then 3km3 which will not work considering a skiffs ore hold is 15km3. If i used the un secured container i get the required m3 for each member but means any member can take ore from can number 1 and put it in there can number 2. Posing a security risk.

Contracts? this would solve all my issues as everyone could put there ore in a view only hanger and contract it to corp, but no, no contracts allowed.

Only allow on division for corp ore buy program? If i did this i wouldn't be able to tell who put what in when so would be unable to track who to pay.

Personnel hangers? cant be seen by corp so cant buy the ore.

Get members to haul there own stuff to adjacent system with station? If they can do this themself then they dont need the buy program as they can haul it there self.

Citadel? this would partially solve my problem but now i need to fuel a POS and a ciadel just to have a buy program? not gonna happen.

I know POS's and permissions are f'd up and i know there being phased out but is there no work around for this at all? Am i really limited to a 7 member corp? How do bigger corps get around this in systems that dont have stations? Once the new citadels arrive in autumn the issue will be much better assuming that contracts have been added to citadels also.

So my actual question is, is there a work around for this? Anyone got an clever ideas i can use so my corp doesn't stall at 7 members until autumn?

Ahhh, the fun of the evil POS...
For this I would turn to mr. Google, start a Google excel sheet and have people log what they put into a common hangar, if things don't check out, then start investigating.
Option 2 is audit log containers somewhere, those log who puts in and who takes.

(1) Anchor a second corp hangar array so you can have up to 14 members with each member having a "buddy" which shares their permissions. Buddies will have to trust each other, but it's better than nothing.

and/or

(2) Anchor a second POS and keep the passwords separate so each member can only access the corp hangar in their assigned POS. This only adds a bit of protection over (1) since you still have to trust 6 people not to give out the password.

Can you anchor Massive password protected Containers inside your POS shields?

I would actually resort to having the members use their personal containers and the corp would only buy the ore at set times when the CEO is in and can 'contract' the ORE to the corp. You can also use the trade window in a station (don't know about a POS) to transfer stuff, I think to the CORP as well.

I've never heard of a corp buying the ORE before, but then again, I have the master wallet under my account so I can just 'sell' the ore with the master wallet checkbox done, the corp gets all the ISK. I'm still figuring out the corp stuff.

Spitballing here.

One personal hangar array to let them pile up the ore while they mine it.
One division hangar where they can put the ore but not take it.

They mine until they accumulate a nice big chunk of ore and they move it to the restricted division hangar, and send an in-game mail to you with the quantity they added. You go verify the quantity and pay them if it all matches up. Use a money transfer from a corp wallet with comments matching each email date/time/quantity, so they can see being paid for each email, even if it's later.

This system is manual, so it can be a lot of work. But as far as security, they're untrusted, but they all have to trust you, which, being in your corp, they have to anyway.

This is an options but again it reply's on me trusting potential new members that there gonna input the correct figure, but i suppose with the current system in place this might be my best option.

Again while this is an option, there personal hanger array only offers 50km3 which is 3 and a bit cargo holds full of ore, hardly enough to store a nights worth of ore mined.

The biggest password protected container is only something in the region of 3km3 in size. Ive looked into this before. I could offer container with 250km3 space but these would be un-protected thus making them accessible to everyone not just me and the member.

(1) i like this option, could definitely work, again it rely's on trust between two people that might have never played together before. But it has promise

(2) A second POS wouldn't be sustainable by the corp atm

Thanks guys for the reply's, couple of ideas there i could use going forward but still a long way off being totally secure for either the corp or the members. keep the suggestions coming if there are any but for now ill just have to see how things go

Also think about citadels in the next few months, we should be having ones that support contracts and trading soon! They are MUCH cheaper to run than POSes

A citadel or station would solve all your problems.
