Can anyone analyze the recent sharp drop in sentry drone prices? I bought a few billion worth of them expecting the price to quickly rise, as I had come to the conclusion it was due to market manipulations, and so far have been disappointed. My second thought is that perhaps they are no longer in as high of demand due to carrier changes (not sure how much water this holds as I am not a carrier pilot or a drone manufacturer). I am inexperienced with the whims of the market, and if anyone could explain this behavior I would be in your debt. If it is due to manipulations, then buy up now :)

P.S. I know that the materials in the drones is worth the same or more than pre-patch, and I would think lower demand wouldn't lead to lower prices, as it still has the same material value.

Its basically the carrier changes.
My main had about 800mil of sentries and standard drones in its drone bay.
these are now useless for my Carrier so are superfluous to my requirements, so they went on the market.
A LOT of people are in the same position, so its a massive market spike in volume and thus a price drop due to all the undercuts irrespective of the material values

The carrier changes had a big effect on all the drones. I foolishly didn't read the patch notes before it dropped and my couple billion ISK of Einherjis turned into a bunch of Einherji Is worth a fraction of the price.

If brute force isn't working, you're just not using enough.

There seems to be a massive Einherji glut.

However, my Firbolgs sold reasonably.

Templars and Dragonflys seem to be selling as poorly as they ever have, so no real change there from my perspective.

The sentry market will be depressed for a very, very long time.

You could try posting them en masse in mission hubs on three month orders.
