If I were to unsub, and someone I didn't like (say... one Atticus Fynch) were to send me a personal invitation back, I'd be:
1. Pissed that CCP gave that person the power to put stuff in my inbox
2. Less likely to reSub

CCP isn't stupid enough to take that chance.

and you dont like me because?

You shiptoast without even the slightest attempt at being funny. Also, shiptoasting is quite literally all you do.

In conclusion, the following players have returned/are currently playing EVE and have extended a personal invitaton:

Player 1: ****************
Player 2: ****************
Player 3: ****************

Sincerely,

CCP

If I see that players I have enjoyed playing with have returned to EVE, I am more prone to re-sub than to resub with a generic 'return' email simply becuase I can now have interaction with people I once knew.

I am just guessing here, but perhaps it's because you post just to draw attention to yourself.. There is a specific term for that, but it is likely subject to the profanity filter.

Well, there is a block feature on this forum. Apparently you do like my posts because you reply to them. You are more than welcomed to block me.

Oh, and please stop posting.

No, seriously, stop.

Edit: Features and Ideas forum is that way ---->

That goes for you too sweet-cheeks.

The block feature doesn't work on threads. And it doesn't work well on replies.

Also I reply to your threads because if everyone who noticed your idiocy decided to not reply, some windowlicker at CCP might see that there's no opposition to it and confuse that for support.

Well then what's forcing you to click my threads?

There is a term in psychology called "projection." Basically if I am afraid of mice, well then the whole world should be afraid of mice as well because that is how I percieve the world and you should too. If I post for attention, then everyone must do it for attention also....right?

I dont post for attention...which is an adolescent attrribute. Do you?

I post to have fun, or kill time. If you see this as attention getting then you are way off. Wanting attention implies I actually care what any of you think...which i dont.

So dont click or comment on my posts...simple huh? Or is that too difficult a concept for some of you?

Not projecting anything, just calling a spade a spade, and as has already been pointed out to you, there is no way via forum mechanics to ignore your attention-whoring threads when you create them.

Get a life, get some professional help, or GTFO, your choice. But whatever you choose, please don't create any more threads unless you have something relevant that actually belongs in EVE GD.

CCP, we need a way of sending an email invite to players we played with but have unsubbed. Only you have the actual emails, so please provide a way to send a "Hey!!, Things are better now so come back to EVE" invite out to them from the players.

If it comes with a default option that says: "Please do not make me contactable by any Jim **** and his friend", sure. Although I'm starting to wonder if the concept of social relationships isn't a bit lost here?

I mean, if you care enough about somebody / something, wouldn't you exchange email addresses?

And if you don't - what are you going to care if that person contacts you?

I'm going to second Doc Fury's suggestion. This is a Feature / Ideas type post. It should have gone there. And if you really don't care what anybody thinks, why are you posting it on a forum where you get comments?

Why not just email it to CCP?

I like your idea.

Actually no. My game life and my RL are two seperate entities and I've come across other players that feel the same.

Often I start a thread in the vain hopes of it becoming a discussion. If it develops into more with many suggestions and added ideas, then I usally ask the thread to be moved elsewhere. As for not caring what people think...let me clarify. I invite constructive discourse, but when the comments become personal attacks, well then I dont care what you say or think (of me).

I second KrakizBad's request for proof.

Just because you can create a thread, does not mean you are sentient, on-topic, or that your thread belongs in GD.

I would also like see links to specific threads of yours you have requested to be moved from GD to elsewhere that were in fact moved.

(Difficulty: if an OP requests their thread to be moved, the thread almost always gets moved. )

I appreciate the bumps gentlemen, but I dont have to prove anything to you. You and your opinions mean nothing to me and your continued comments just show you for the fools you are...unable to stay on-topic...unable to walk away from a thread you supposedly despise. You keep coming back for more humilation and what more...you just cant help yourself. Right now, I own you and you dont even know it.

So tell me again, who needs to "get a life, get some professional help, or GTFO."

Yes....I am laughing at you as are all the silent observers iof this thread...and as always, thanks again for the bump.Big smile

Quit while you're behind. LOL!!!!

If the collected opinions of the forum denizens mean nothing to you, why do you post?

For once, I agree with Alara Ionstorm, there seem to be an annoying number of features being shoved into software now ( Thanks to facebook no doubt ) that cater entirely to people who either want to stalk someone or have no social interaction skills.
