For years we have been told CCP have been working on redoing the entire corporate management structure in the game.

Sadly its never happened yet and maybe a long while off but i feel that CCP should look into add a few features in the mean time that should be much easier then a full rework.

I believe that Corp CEO's/directors should be able to moderate who can talk from THEIR corp in Alliance Chat, Corp Chat

I have been in many alliances and corps where you have members who get drunk or stoned or just have a bad day at work and while normally they are great people to be around just start splurging bullshit in alliance/corp chats and other then kicking said person the CEO's and Directors of his corp can't stop him at all from spamming.

Id really like CCP to look into a way to allow the Director/CEO or comms office role the ability to mute there own corp members from alliance and corp chat.

have it function so i can go into corporate management and decided if i want everyone to be allowed to talk by default or if i need to white list or black list.

This would help out a lot of corps.

You already have to ability to not see stuff from people who offend you in chat. Right click their name and hit block.

Agreed 100%

Also, telling people to block someone is like telling people to wait for the command to jump before actually jumping, it will never happen.

Yeah I can see a benefit to this function.

Problem is "blocking someone" does not stop damage from happenening and sounds like something a Director/Comm Officer should be able to do for their own corp members.

I don't know how many times I could have stopped alliance drama by temporary muting one of my members in alliance chat to "cool off" before they get a corp in trouble.

I know we can't control all behavior but in a real corp in the real wold a CEO or IT guy could suspend a employee's email, chat, cell phones for behavior issues so it is not unprecedented.
