EVE Launcher version 1037417 has the following changes:

Fixing issues with periodic verify/purge process:
- This is no longer started if there are any clients running
- It no longer insists on finishing the process - if it is cancelled it is not attempted again until two weeks later

Too bad it also forgets accounts.

Might I suggest using a txt file to store which accounts player has in the launcher. Might be a bit more reliable than whatever the hell you have going on right now.

Would it be possible for you to reintroduce the "Play" arrows for starting game sessions? In the 1037417 the only way of starting games is to use the sliding thingy AND "Play Selected". Its annoying to push two buttons, and not one when I need to get a cyno alt online.

is there any way to get a manual download for this build of the launcher? as mine refuses to auto update and hence i can't login.

TQ Serverstatus since DT today on "Unknown"

settingsprofiles was in the last days 2 times overwriten at gamestart (i realy dont like the intro anymore)

why is there no backup setting option in the profiles menü? why cant we copy profiles with the launcher on the new right site of the profiles? (for manual backup)

and WHY cant the launcher stil remember the startdelay??? (and even at least in 0,5s steps)

No exefile running and i ran as administrator still the same error and yes i let it try to fix the permissions it justs repeats again and again.

Please send me the logs from %LOCALAPPDATA%\CCP\EVE\Launcher - put them in a Dropbox or a Google Drive and send me the link in EVE mail and I'll try to figure this out.

In the meantime also look for a VirtualStore folder under %LOCALAPPDATA%, see if there are any CCP files/folders in there. If so, delete them.

TQ Server status should now be back to normal. We are currently looking at ways to make the current server status more current more promptly than before!

As for your referenced post, Team Webster finally has some time these days to look at the launcher, and we are super excited to start looking at how we can improve your experience :)

was not amused about it seems i am the only one with a launcher (i use it since beta) who dont remember the start delay so i decidet to install it new

first problem: deinstallation told me all files in the folder will be deleted.. but 3 files was left over (2x ddl) and a maintenancetool.exe i could not delete... i took al rights for all users for this file to delete it, nothing.
after few 5 min the file was magical "gone"

reinstalled launcher form https://community.eveonline.com/support/download
that give you version 1036602 who is outdated (player asked about a solution to download the actual version)

so i am on 6602 and it try after every restart to update to 1037417 but failed again and again
run loglite started the launcher as admin.. all the same
so downloaded http://binaries.eveonline.com/EveLauncher-1037417.exe ;)
wanted to install it in same folder.. failed because not empty (wtf?)
deinstalled launcher again (who is now called not anymore Eve Launcher in the list but Eve?)
folder again not empty (or even deleted)
again maintanancetool.exe^^ and disappered after few min (is this an eve file or do i have a virus or something?)

so installed v7417 and it worked!
set my startdelay to 45s. (because why not) endet launcher, restarted and got to see this?? (on the right) wtf?

the realy funny part comes now... the startdelay works now!
shows still 1s but it remembers the delaytime and use it with multistart^^
dont know what is wrong whit this but i am litte bit happy it work now (kind of) with my 2s delay my system need

while the failed updateprocess i run loglite
CCP Snorlax i send the link via evemail may it help

p.s.: oh i final also found the copy option for saved TQ profiles...
shame on me my drop down there was everytime on "Migrate old clients" i never switched it or even saw or recognised i can^^ the Ui is on this point little bit tricky isnt it? (or i am getting old)
