Soo how to start? :D

I am absolute newbie at EVE online and I am still searching for activities, that I will like. I have completed Military and A. Military careers and I felt like a big boss in my fully equiped Trasher. I smashed NPCs like a Hammer! Today I applied to join Brave Newbies to get some pvp, because I think I will really like it. So I applied and i flew into their home system, which was 33 jumps away :D I have just started autopilot and watched some Games of Thrones.

When I got there I was still not accepted to the BN, so I decided to fly around a system for a bit. I have discovered mining site with lots of cargos to loot, so I have looted it and then I saw something. It was some collector of cargos or something (it was named Tractor - something) and I told myslef: I am boss, I can destroy and loot it too :D I started to attack it and I have almost destroyed it, but suddenly some advanced players warped in and kill me on sight. I was like Why??? SadSadSad Anyways.. I have respawned and started to search for my destroyed ship, but my suspect status was sttill on and I got caught by Yellow Parasol. i thought is was my end, but he sent me a message to write this topic and he will lemme go. :D I was amazed. No KOS, even tho I was suspected!

I love communtity of this game.

(PS: Donate Yellow Parasol, he is cool guy :D)

Welcome to Eve.

You sound like you'll fit right in. You did the right thing, mobile tractor units should always be shot on sight.

Why? Lol

just becausePirate.

btw auto pilot will get you shot in the face sooner or later,
most of us only use it to set the destination and make navigation easier.

Hello and welcome to Eve.

Like Ralph said, just use Autopilot to plot your route and for actual travel, just do manual warp to 0 / jump. Also doesn't matter if you're suspect or not when in Null Security space, if you're not Purple then you're an open target.

Hope you have a long and rewarding career here.

Yes!

You only go suspect, so other players will be able to shoot you. Once they do you can defend yourself and fire back.

there is considerable fun to be had doing this, particularly if the owner of the mtu happens to be there Big smile

Usually the owner of the MTU is in an industrial so the only thing they can do is scoop them up or let you kill it.

However, if they happen to have escort nearby, things will get very interesting for you really quickly. Interesting in the Chinese sense that is. Shocked
