In what ways has CCP incorporated player created lore into its official canon? For example, I see a lot of players saying that Maximilian Singularity VI, first of his name is the true pope of the galaxy. The Mittani bowed down to this man and many capsuleers are calling MSVI the one true emperor of the Holy Amarr empire. If I was the Amarr empire I would react to this statement since I would assume that the Imperium is much stronger than the Amarr empire itself.

CCP actually had Jamyl Sarum actually specifically addresses Max Singularity in local chat several times, and they made a book, (new years gift) in game item, about him as well over this past year as well.

So there's that...

Starsi was a drink invented by players

Federation Day was a celebration made by players, it is now mentioned in some of the level 1 FW missions.

Presumably a lot before your time, but the events of the fall of the old NC (not the current NC [which is not NC. :P] ) are mentioned in Templar 1, which is the 'best' Eve Book.

Very woodenly. The players are another story and have been quite interactive with Imperium. Most in Empire space are loyalists to the former Empress, so predictably they were/are hostile to the Imperium, which is appropriate. CCP has mostly ignored the whole arc even though it was much more interesting and tense to follow then their over-used "big drama Game of Thrones killoff" which they cannot pull off as I have said many times before: they simply don't have enough...er...any compelling characters in their stable.

Take a look at stories in The Witcher, Vampire TM, World of Warcraft, Game of Thrones, Starcraft...they all have something Eve does not have - well-defined characters that don't rest their premise on overturning the whole godamned stage. The characters can return over and over again to weave through the plotline. Martin kills off a lot off characters, but he does the same thing overall: Ciri, Melisandre, Tyrion, he can afford to kill of major characters left and right because they are actually very well defined and likeable minor characters he has tricked us into caring a lot about. CCP likes to overturn the whole stage over and over again and spend little time doing anything else. I don't know why they are such a one trick pony but they are. Anyways the company can't take player characters and turn them into license assets. But then again if you constantly kill off your characters you can't make use of what little you have later on. No one gives a damn about any of the heirs because no one has been allowed to care for them. That was some of the shoddiest storytelling I've ever seen. It was boring wasn't it? I can't think of reading anything interesting about any of the heirs.

One of the problems with Max's story now is that his claim to Popehood and the throne as well as the aggression towards the Amarr Empire rested on the fact that Jamyl was allegedly illegitimate (Everyone who has read Templar One knows she is definately illegitimate)Now that things have returned to the hands of a non-capsuieer heir who won the succesion trials there isn't much point in aggressing Amarr over that or continuing to proclaim heresy unless he comes up with a new reason to do so. It will be interesting to see how the player steers that character, but I expect it will be a dissapointment to look to CCP for any kind of support there.

The bit with Jamyl and Max was instigated by Max, since he was there at the speech. Doubt they'd have had sod all to do with the Imperium other than that.

Aritcio Kor-Azor. But he's going to be dead after Shathol'Syn, so.
