Echo Unleashed – About Us

Echo Unleashed was established by members of Echo Squadron, an Agony Unleashed’s Australian time zone group. Echo members decided that they needed to formalise its independence in order to grow the squadron membership and be able to pursue the best options for their time zone. However the overall goal of Echo remained the same, to constantly improve our small gang PvP skills in Null sec whilst enjoying our Eve time with like-minded people in a relaxed and informal environment.

We believe that:

• PvP is fun, enjoy it and don't be a jerk.

Who we are.

Our core player base are very experienced PvP’ers within small gang warfare. Many have been part of the Agony leadership group, taught Agony training courses and FC’d both internal and class fleets. Echo Unleashed members are well versed in helping less experienced players develop their skills within the small gang PvP domain with strong accent on having fun whilst trying to improve our skills. As such it is our belief that with right attitude and willingness to learn anybody can be a valuable member of our corporation.

We have players located in all around the world, however the Australian TZ (08:00-16:00 EvE time) is when we are most active as a group, especially pre-downtime.

We’re generally an older crowd and while we always enjoy a good laugh, dank memes, penis gags and the use of word "cancer" as an adjective are not our thing.


What we do;

• Null sec roaming is our primary source of PvP entertainment, currently our primary base of operations is a Freeport base in Querious. (In the past we have also based out of Thera which enabled us access to many Null Sec regions and depending on target density, we also have set homes in various stations in NPC Null Sec.) Basically we will move to wherever there are good fights to be had.
• We have regularly scheduled roams during the week as well as the usual ad hoc getting out with whoever else is online at any time.
• Members are free to PvP and PvE whenever and wherever you like, although obviously if you are online and we have a fleet scheduled we encourage your participation.
• We’re not looking to be a sovereignty holding corp, we prefer the option to roam where we like as opposed to being tied to one single point in space. Besides, better to be the tormentor than the tormented and disengage when we choose.
• We’re not a hard core gaming corp that expects you to commit to a minimum number of hours per week but we are looking for some regularity from players being online.
• We don’t demand that you only fly a particular ship doctrine. Fly what you find enjoyable, it’s a game.

What we are looking for in an applicant;

• A willingness to listen and learn
• A good attitude when losing ships
• The same level of respect and courtesy shown towards other corp members as you yourself expect to receive
• A willingness to be a contributing member of the corp
• Regular activity
• The ability to communicate like an adult
• We don’t offer a SRP as we expect our members to be self-sufficient and able to fund their own PvP activities.
• At least some experience in PvP is required for less experienced players whilst experienced PvP’ers are definitely encouraged to apply
• Being on comms whenever you are in game – non negotiable

That was fun, another fleet tonight.

Headed to Providence for a second night in a row, this time with 3-4 Gila's, combat recons and a few utility and support ships. Ran into an Apocalypse Now response fleet with Vexors and Vexor Navy's. They defensive bubbled on gate, which our command destroyer was pleased to blink 100km off gate and we killed 3-4 before those remaining warped off.

Fun had, which means mission accomplished.

Good bunch of bros. Good pew. If you're in the AU timezone and want no nonsense small gang warfare without politics or egos, this is the right place.
