As ive been out of town and away from eve for awhile, how much do the various citadels cost bpo wise, and is there a market you think for building and selling the citadels or even just the bpcs

All my isk comes from seeding various low and null sec systems, im trying to find new ways to earn an income....diversify my sources so ill have multiple streams of revinue

Ah i found it...nevermind.

Honestly i would love to branch out and build large ships, capitals, supers etc, but ive been told there is no isk in that at all, well no profit anyway.

Do what you like to do. As long as you can support yourself through other means, there should be no reason why you don't enjoy this game to the fullest!

At cap prices do they at least turn a profit or are builders just breaking even

From what I've seen, there is profit, but not much. Between the amount of isk sunk into it and the times needed, you can make much better isk building just about anything else.

The main advantage of building cap ships is it can be very passive. And you can say you build cap ships :P

Hmm I'll have to build a spreadsheet to see if I can justify it

A Thukker Component Assembly Array can only be anchored in lowsec but will drastically change your profitability when building capital ships.

With the changes in capitals and their modules do you see demand increasing?

I assume dreads, carriers, and the new support ships are the best to aim for as opposed to freighters orcas and the like.

If i go this route i would probably buy the bpo for 1 cap and components then increase to others as time progresses, i wont throw all my isk in right away, still need isk to seed as well lol.

So another question to any cap producers out there, is it better to have 2 different ship bpos or 2 of the same one...

2 of ship a would allow you more of a steady stream of said ship, could research them easier snd get more bpcs as well as have 2 cooking at the same time, whereas 2 different bpos would allow more diversity..

As for component bpos, i imagine just 1 set is not enough to keep up even with only 1 ship bpo.... how many component bpos is usually needed?

To build caps profitably need to have a Thukker Component Array, meaning you need to have friends in lowsec willing to defend it and you need to live in lowsec so you know what the systems where your POS will not attract too much attention are.

With a Thukker compment array, you can make 10-15% profit per cap. Without it, you make nothing because your prices have to compete with those of people who have Thukker arrays.

If you want to capitalize on the new modules then you need to start building yesterday prices stabilize so you can recoup some BPO cost.
