In a true sandbox, nothing should be indestructible.
Monuments and "permanent" structures may be insanely well protected by OP shield generators and an army of highly efficient repair bots, but never indestructible.

In high sec these structures may have additional protection from Concord and standings loss if attacked, or in case of monuments, if the repair bots are attacked.
The same holds true in low sec, just without the Concord.

Nul sec is interesting though, why shouldn't we be able to kill a stargate, and build our own?

The same for signs, if we dislike an ad for an enemy faction, let us defecat... I mean deface the signs.

Not that I disagree with you on the notion of nothing being indestructible, but they just made the first steps towards making a big part of Eve less "Superman" level. Patience. We'll get there when we get there. I don't think CCP is entirely done making things in Eve that are normally invulnerable now destructible. Gates, like you said, may come in time.

+1 for the thought, though. Couldn't agree more that this should eventually happen. Just not overnight and certainly not without properly implementing ways for players to replace what gets lost to enemy fire/mistakes that get made/player ignorance/alcohol consumption.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

I think CCP is more or less already going in that direction with the new structures.

Building your own "pockets" in null while destroying the entries is probably THE wet dream of nullbears.
Finding your way into such pockets using wormholes sounds interesting.

+1 :)

I just want 'indestructible' stuff labeled that way. I'm tired of having to lock things up and take a shot at them to see if they can be blown up or not.

I do agree with the sentiment that if it is 'built' it should be able to be 'blown up'.

I also think a huge game changer would be if we could 'capture' structures and such. For unmanned structures: entosis. For manned structures: Marines.

Because CCP wants to give smaller groups a snowballs chance in hell of being able to live in null. If this happened, EVE would turn into (more than it already is) "those with the most ISK have an automatic I win button"

Own a stargate so those with no access can watch me fly and eat my dust. Or create a stargate that leads to an ambush site without way to leave without permission. Sweeeeeet.

I would assume there's some point behind this...even though my grandma warned me about ass-u-me.

I will point out, those billboards are destructible. You just have to be able to do it. I'm guessing the OP isn't.

If we get chased by zombies, I'm tripping you.
