Skill queue wont start

Put implants in yesterday and realized my skill queue had stopped.

Tried to restart it with the simple "Apply" button... but it seems to be non-functioning. Tried clicking the "Pause" button, but its greyed out.

Tried to restart the client. no luck.
Tried to restart the computer. Again, no luck.
Tried jumping to a new Jump clone. Still no luck.
Tried waiting 24 hrs to see if it would be rectified. again... I'm sure you can guess.
Submitted a help ticket (actually I did that after #2, but you get the idea). Still waiting for an answer.

Odd quirk. If I open my skill queue and then close it.. I cant re-open it. I get the
"You have made changes to the trining queue. Do you want to apply those changes? Yes No"
and nothing I click will reopen it.
Correction... Its in the NeoCom menu. I can double click on it there and it will open, but the queue is empty (the actual list of pending skills) but the skills that ARE queued are still highlighted in blue in the total list of skills. Very odd!

Putting this here to see if anyone else has had a similar issue or a suggestion as to how to fix it.

People were reporting similar issues when training a certain capital weapons skill. I honestly don't remember which one it is nor know if what you are describing is the same issue they were having, but it was causing peoples skill queues to stop functioning properly. CCP will likely be resuming bug hunting and patching now that the weekend is almost over, so it may get rectified. If you see a patch stating skill queue issues have been fixed and you're still stuck, submit a ticket under "Character Stuck" category (makes it a priority ticket) stating your problem. I'd also use some copy/paste from here to show what you've already done and observed as it's a pretty specific description. GL, brah.

Yeah... No new skills started though. I'm still 3 months out from being in a cap ship. What started it all was plugging in a full set of +3 implants.

I appreciate the heads up though, and the knowledge that stuff like this has happened in the past, and that CCP was able to fix it.

Also, that "Character Stuck" thing is good advice. Thanks!

i hope CCP give us some skill injector for compensating this issue.

I wouldn't expect any SP for this issue. It doesn't seem wide spread enough. I to am affected by it though Cry. The second character on my account can use the skill queue just fine, but I can't train any skills on Kyra. I too have submitted a bug report and support ticket. Hopefully they get to it soon.

Ok.. For those with a similar situation..

It got resolved! (yay!)

I was told to go back into my skill queue and remove all the skills and hit apply, then build the skill list again.
When I did it a few days ago, no joy.. It worked recently though!

and yes, I was reimbursed the SPs that were missing.

Hope this helps those of you also suffering.

So I'm not the only one having this issue. I will try the full removal tomorrow and see if that resolves it.
