EVE Central Data?

Hello fellow industrious capsuleers, I come asking for a little help from those who deal with data imports from EVE-Central into MS Excel.

I am having an issue with automatic data imports from EVE Central data. For some reason I am getting a lot of 0 isk values for things that are for sale in Jita in quite a large volume. I have a spreadsheet that I built a couple years back that pulls data from eve central and automatically calculates profit margins for build / buy functionality. For those who are unfamiliar with how that works, Excel pulls a table from a web page on EVE Central referencing item ID and either system or region IDs to specify market range. There are a lot of other options in the data call, but I kept it simple using only those factors.

Today it updated a lot of 0 isk values effectively throwing off a lot of high $$$ product calculations. I checked the item IDs and nothing has changed in my sheet, so I checked EVE-Central. I'm seeing that there are no more orders for a lot of things listed in Jita in their data. It appears there is some problem with EVE-Central receiving the data from EVE on the Jita market.

A while back there was a way to manually update pricing through either IGB integration and allowing them to scan the market through your client, or you could do an imp/exp manually. I am not seeing this anywhere on EVE central anymore.

Is there anyone out there that still uses EVE-Central and knows how to get that scanner capability setup, if they've discontinued it, or if there is any other way we can get the prices to update accurately? I prefer to leave changing my sheet as a last resort and would like to help get the market aggregator back to running condition if possible.

thanks in advance for any help.

Yes Eve Central appears to have hiccuped, most likely due to the expansion. It's almost back to normal now.

The Eve Market Data website is an alternative data source for prices, you can pull down a dump of them like this:

http://api.eve-marketdata.com/api/item_prices2.txt?char_name=Oriella Trikassi&solarsystem_ids=30000142&buysell=s

which gives me Sell prices at Jita. It isn't unfortunately as reliable as Eve Central and generates a few zeros.

From Eve Central I use individual cell queries like this one, Tritanium at Jita:

=FILTERXML(WEBSERVICE("http://api.eve-central.com/api/marketstat?usesystem=30000142&typeid=34),"/evec_api/marketstat/type/sell/min")

Thanks, I was wondering if it was just a hiccup, or if Eve-Central was dying. Last thing I want to do is rebuild that sheet. it took me a year to make. I would probably leave eve and put the effort into a IRL business before I would redo something I have already done in a game. Thanks for the info, it helps a lot.
