I've been trying to make sense of the character bazaar as I've thought about kick starting my podling career by buying something a little more advanced that my week old self.

Yet I saw characters with roughly 100million skill points going for about 70 billion yet I thought if you stripped a character like that it would equal a lot more?

I mean 95 million skill points would be 190 injectors would be 122 billion?

Figuring out what is more profitable is one of the main things about this game. It's the reason that some people call it spreadsheets in space.

Learning the market and calculating the most profitable outcome based on the player driven market is a key to this game that you need to learn and no one can make those calls for you.

Your coming here and asking this question shows me that you are looking to short cut learning on many levels.

Skill points will not buy you glory in this game. You need to learn the game. This is not WoW you can't go buy a max level character and go pwn with it. You need to learn this game and once you do learn the game you can pwn on a two week old alt.

Don't skill extractors give you less and less skill points as your character goes up in skill points? I could have sworn there was some type of diminishing returns mechanic.

Yeah. It's the full 500k up to 5m SP. From 5m to 50m you get 400k SP. From 50m to 80m you get 300k. At 80m and up you only get 150k.

It makes a hell of a difference to your enjoyability of the game when you buy a character
