Do you have to pay 900k every time you use a jump clone or just one time to have the body installed?

If you are docked at an NPC station when you jump to a jump clone, you pay a fee of 900k ISK

Erm ... last time I clone jumped it was free.

I only paid to install a clone.

Haven't tried since Citadel release, but I don't remember hearing anything about a mechanics change.

They changed it, Now you have to pay 900k every time you jump to another clone in another area of space.

Seems legit. I need to just put one of these up(citadel that is).

It's pay 900k every time you jump clone to a different body. A good ISK sink I suppose and a possible "nerf" to power projection I think?

I still dont get the difference, this is just chump change, hell, 5 mil is chump change when you factor in the fact that you only jump every 19 or so hours...

No not at all. First you can only jump clones at most once every 20 hours. Second when you are talking about large alliance's ability to project force, if these guys can afford to throw supers around the way that you and I do cruisers then the 900K isn't even a consideration. Heck the price of fuel for jumping caps around will cost you more than that.

That doesnt really factor in too much, because if you are a new player, you either:
A: Don't know what a JC is.
B: Dont have a JC yet.
C: Dont have a use for a JC.

I never saw a use for having one until i played the game for about 4 months, I'm sure that most will agree, that by the time you need to have one or want one, small amounts of ISK are easy to come by.

Jump clones are the way to get new players out of their expensive learning clones and into cheap PvP early on, now they have to pay 1.8m extra for the roundtrip each day on top of that throw away PvP frigate(s). CCP created a new hurdle to expierience and accommodate to loss, sounds right. IMO not necessary at all, because Citadels have a unique advantage many will be willing to pay much more than those 900k per jump ...

Well, you kind of just contradicted the point, if they have 'expensive' learning clones, then less than a mil shouldn't be bad, plus how many new players do you know have a dedicated learning clone with a set of low to mid range implants?

Well ISK spent on learning implants can't be spent for something else anymore. Blink Not sure how many but I think a lot of players start with a PLEX worth of ISK either from buddy invite or as a start investment, and learning imps is the first most useful thing to buy from that (beside skill injectors). Even if you start poor and grind the way to a 30m set, 1.8m protection fee per day is not nothing. Of course this all does not matter if you never leave highsec or join one of the big nullsec blocks ...

"Expensive" is a subjective term with no quantifiable objective meaning. To a new player a 3 million isk implant could be expensive.

Learn the difference between your opinion an objective facts before you accuse someone of being wrong or contradictory.
