Will the Astrohaus be able to be used for manufacturing? I know it can't be used for marketing but I won't mind that if I can manufacture stuff when the industrial upgrades come out.

Awesome list of official info all in one place, thank you.

For anyone interested in the possibility of market hub citadels being used for the common good, instead of individual wealth or metagame political intrigue, check out the Charity Citadel project! Profits will go to PLEX for Good, Broadcast 4 Reps, Care 4 Kids, Best of Us, and other respected/trusted ingame groups.

As far as I know there will be manufacturing "modules" for the citadels - including the Astrahus - although you DON'T want to use those as soon as the dedicated smaller structures come out - because of low efficiency ....

Dedicated smaller structures? I thought everything was going to be moved towards Citadels?

Remarkable accomplishment. Very useful resource here. Sticky perhaps? Cool

Good job all around guys. Get the wrinkles ironed out and only the usual suspects will be complaining.

there are "logistics hubs" in the planning/ "soon ^tm" queue, for ore processing/refining/manufacturing, the citadels are home base, the "logistics array's"? are going to be for industry

I'm a strong independant alt that don't need no main...

That just seems like the Astrahaus is a waste of time. I mean it isn't going to be anything more than somewhere to store stuff but you're not going to fit a market so you can't sell stuff from it and having a Citadel just for reprocessing is just a waste. So we aren't moving to the equivalent of an NPC Station we're moving back towards having POSs. That's a dumb move. I was so excited about the powerhouse potential of the Citadels but now - at least with the Astrohaus - it seems like we're going to get a dead horse to flog.

I could have got over the Astrohaus being market less if I could turn it into a research and manufacturing base but I can't really do that to any effect.

This has probably already been asked somewhere and possibly answered but I can't find it.

Why is it that Jaspet (found in 0.4 and below systems) is included with ores only found in nulsec when looking at Rigs for the medium Citadel. If you live in lowsec and mine Jaspet you need to use a rig slot that is only going to give a bonus to 1 ore out of the 10 the rig covers?

Living in a 0.4 lowsec with an ice belt and Jaspet, you need 3 rigs to get the max reprocessing efficiency for what you mine.
Rig 1; Kernite, Omber, Plagioclase, Pyroxeres, Scordite and Veldspar (covers all common ores)
Rig 2; for your ice variants, depending on where you are as to what type of ice is available.
Rig 3; Just for Jaspet. Your unlikely to get regular (if any) spawns of Arkonor, Bistot, Crokite, Dark Ochre, Gniess, Hedbergite, Hemorphite, Mercoxit or Spodumain in a 0.4 system.

Then the description of the Standup Reprocessing Facility; Am I reading this right?
EG; Refining yield for Clear Icicle and White Glaze 50%
Refining yield multiplier 50%

So refining yield of 50%
+
Refining yield multiplier 50%
=
Refining at 75% ?

My opinions are mine.

  If you don't like them or disagree with me that's OK.- - - - - - Just don't bother Hating - I don't care

It really is getting harder and harder to justify $23 a month for each sub.

Had a thought we were discussing in the help chat...

What if each Citadel came with its own chat channel? You automatically enter when you dock, and automatically exit when you undock?

Can it be true that if a player moves his stuff to a public citadel,
and then the citadel become no public,
then there is no way to get the stuff back,
unless the citadel owner let you have itQuestion
if so then people will not use the public citadels,.

That is how it currently works.
You do however have the option to kill the Citadel to get your stuff back.

But then, if you have the resources and backing to kill a public Citadel, you likely would have your own so not need a public one to start with.

As far as I know, you can initiate asset safety at any time with your stuff inside citadels.
