I wish to make a donation to the EVE Museum. I have put on contract to CistaCista an original catalyst salvage destroyer with fit:

[Salvager]
Expanded Cargohold II
Expanded Cargohold II
Expanded Cargohold II

Cap Recharger II
1MN Monopropellant Enduring Afterburner

Salvager I
Salvager I
Salvager I
Salvager I
Small Tractor Beam I
Small Tractor Beam I
Small Tractor Beam I
Small Tractor Beam I

Large Salvage Tackle I
Large Salvage Tackle I
Large Salvage Tackle I

Why this ship should be in the museum:

  • The salvage destroyer used to be one of the most popular options for looting and salvaging missions before the Noctis and the MTU were invented. The catalyst was deemed the superior destroyer for this purpose as it had the largest cargo capacity when fitted with three Expanded Cargohold II. This ship is therefore a suitable exhibit of the evolving meta of EVE.
  • In addition this ship still has the original rigs, now changed into Large size

History of the ship:

  • The ship is named Scorched Earth V. "Scorched Earth" obviously refers to the policy of not leaving anything of value on the PvE battle field. In reality the loot tables at the time still included Cap Boosters, which were very bulky and of relatively low value, so were often left behind; similar for Metal Scaps which used to be size 1 (or even larger?).
  • The number V indicates that I managed to loose 4 previous incarnations of the ship, among others due to the explosion of the Pleasure Garden in the level 4 mission "Damsel in Distress".
  • The last loss of a similar fitted ship among my alts is 2009-08-08, making that the likely date when this ship was purchased and fitted.

Are there currently any shares outstanding, or anyone looking to sell?

I would like to hold an IPO of my own in the coming months and would love to be a part of this organization not only because it sounds awesome, but also to learn how you operate.

I have no shares available, we might have moved into the phase now where you will have to offer to pay other players more than 30 mil ISK per share to get some. The IPO has been running almost a year now and will definitely move on forward.

If only there was an in-game mechanic for trading shares...

I'll leave an open order here for 10 shares at 31 mil.
I'll keep enough in my account until 5/6, at which point I'll update here if I wish to extend my offer.

THIS ORDER IS CANCELED

I went ahead and paid out dividends today, while we await the monthly accounting.

I am quite conservative about buying new Museum items atm, preferring to increase the dividends and at the same time have more money in the tank.
Dividends this month grew to 1.8% or 544K per share. Total payout on shares has been 5.8 bn since we began.

I have no returned shares available to sell - there is an offer to buy shares for 31 mio ISK a few posts up.
Thanks all :)

I'll take that, and cancel my order above.

I likely won't be able to get online until sometime around 23:00, but I'll send 165,000,000 to CistaCista as soon as I am able.

As a general rule, it is better to do any player-to-player transactions through my main character Cista2, so the shares do not get mixed up with the shares held in the museum.

And I have paid out dividends.

The good news is dividends grew for the third month in row to now 2.1 %. I am holding back with buying too much stuff so dividends will most likely continue to grow a bit in the coming months
Altogether 7 bn have been paid out as dividends so far.

The other good news is that some shares have been destroyed, This means that we all get a little higher dividends each month than the official values!
