But as a programmer, its my job to find bugs and issues, and not the customers using my service, maybe learn something from that mr CCP men.

As a programmer, then you should know, when making large changes, often times there are unintended results that you wont notice until code is put into operation. Programming is the bane of all things electronic, never know if its going to work as intended until its put into effect.

Thats why we run tests in a controled enviroment, so that the final product does not cause discomfort to our paying customers.

I don't believe you're a programmer, at least not an experienced one.

Every game, platform, operating system, application, and appliance developer has a means for customers to report problems with a product. If one could get perfection by simply sandboxing, there would literally be no need for knowledge bases, and bug reporting systems.

The measure is not in the bugs that are live right now, but how efficiently and effectively CCP addresses them - THAT is the measure of a quality software production team.

Checked a couple of inactive accounts. Seeing a 33% off subscription offer but no glasses.

Edit: just seen the glasses, stereotypical SJW glasses, do not want.

do you see this image in the account management page ?

?

I'm led to believe the "special upwell items" include the glasses, both male and female, plus some other clothing.

The latter is by design and documented in the patch notes, albeit poorly. I have requested this be amended to be less confusing.

Thanks for clarifying, I couldn't find it. Still, the message text is a UI bug then, as no installation of a jump clone is occuring.

ordering of options in the context menu of bookmarks is ****** up:
bookmarks that are close to your current location (couple of 1000 km) display 'approach' as the first entry instead of 'warp to'. this is highly annoying for insta bookmarks there you want to warp to with minimal mouse movement involved.

bookmarks further away correctly have the warp to option as their first entry.

Sure. So I had a quick look, and it indeed appears as you say. What I need to do now is go back through the releases and find out when the change was made (I have a pretty good idea of this already). Then, following a quick chat with the team who implemented the change, we will find out if it's by design that it is this way, or if it is unintended. If it's the latter, it will be fixed. Thing is, because of the nature of the issue (usability, workaround in place, no broken functionality) it's going to take a back seat for a few days while we get the broken stuff out of the way.

What's wrong with approaching bookmarks on grid, it's a decent feature I'd use all the time

thanks for the reply. i really hope you consider this a bug and not an intentional change. from my (the user) perspective this reduces the gaming experience since i would need to relearn something for which there is no reason. and there are even different behaviors depending on the distance of the bookmark ...

Found another one, happens on all of my accounts. When you log in, your modules no longer immediately appear. There is a 10ish second lag before your ship modules appear so that you can activate them.

Another one: Camera tracking is broken when using the old camera sometimes. WE NEED CAMERA TRACKING. The new camera's tracking functionality isn't a good enough replacement yet that the old one can be removed.

Need to be able to have center tracking always on in order to effectively d-scan, not a shortcut to hold + click. New camera is bad, fix it if you're going to slowly destroy the old one.

EDIT: Nvm, sorry. It's still a bug with the old camera but figured out the new camera center tracking. For those that haven't, turn off dynamic camera offset in general settings then turn on tracking with Shift+C (

Two bugs I've encountered so far:

1. Inventory window is broken and will randomly show an error message "The item is no longer within your reach" when trying to right click it. It works randomly, but very seldom, for the same item after multiple tries.

2. Jumping to another jump clone costs you 900k ISK fee for "installing a jump clone".

I've reported both bugs via the ingame BT.

The latter is by design and documented in the patch notes, albeit poorly. I have requested this be amended to be less confusing.

As to number 1, we are aware of the issue but more reports can't hurt!

And as to # 2, 900k is out of line
