At some point it was often quiet here at the Holy Grape, nothing but him and the silence that keeps him company while the other members of the Society has retired themselves or being about their business.

Braeyon just sits there in one of the vacant booths, contemplating, wondering. He lifts the glass of Amarrian whiskey to his lips for a sip and swallows. That bitter sweet aftertaste, as if his tongue has experienced a taste of heaven itself. With the glass in his hand he looks at it, seeing a faint reflection of him at the glass, the light brownish color of the whiskey providing an background.

He couldn't help but lock his gaze at the reflection of himself and ponder, "It ain't often I drink", he thought. A sigh escaped him and he put down the glass at the table, looking around seeing nothing and no one. As if the loneliness spoke to him that he's destined to be alone at times like these.

Then he smiled as he began to remind himself, Tash-Murkon won. Braeyon shook his head while he smiled at it. Tash-Murkon, so far as he knows, is a House worthy of respect and decorum. Minor-House Rebucanus, the House of his father, is a proud family that serves Tash-Murkon with an unconditional obedience.

As far as he has been told, Minor-House Rebucanus has served Tash-Murkon since it became a noteworthy family. Braeyon couldn't help but wonder for how long these two houses has existed. It was something that could be worth digging in to, afterall.

It came to his mind that he could visit the archives at his father's estate, a lot of history should be collected and stored in that archive. A smirk formed at the edge of his lips and he thought, "Not now, I'm here and having a drink".

He took the glass and lifted it to his lips. A sound of movement outside. Braeyon paused from taking a sip and continued to listen for a moment. The footsteps went past the entrance behind the door and faded in to nothing.

With a shrug he took his deep sip from his whiskey and swallows.

The datapad that lay beside him blinked.

Braeyon couldn't help but sigh and hesitated to activate it to read the contents he received. He picked it up and made a wave against its screen to illuminate and read the content. It was a message from an Holder's daughter. As Braeyon began to read, he couldn't help but laugh to himself and shook his head. Apparently this girl tried to seduce him, at her own father's request.

Of course, this was the third girl this week who tried to gain his favor and interest. Caedin, Braeyon's father, warned him that he is the heir of an honorable house of Amarr and if the Holders' daughters should become aware of him, they would do anything to catch his interest.

His father was considerate with providing that information to him, and of course, Braeyon knows that his father just wishes to simply help him to become more and more integrated in to the Amarrian society. In Braeyon's own opinion he knew, somehow, that he can't be fully integrated. Because he's not a True Amarr, he's part Gallentean and part Amarrian.

Due to his bloodline, it would be hard for him to become accepted. But this doesn't stop him at all. He had the perfect answer, 'I represent the best of both worlds'.

"I do represent the best of both worlds", he thought to himself.

In faith and mind, he knew he was an Amarrian but in his heart, he's a Gallentean. This is something he can't run away from and neither hide from.

"Best of both worlds..."
