Hello my role in EvE as a Anti-ganker has had its ups and downs, right new I feel AG as a whole are on a massive up but with World War Bee ragging in null we have been put under pressure, Goons have started to up their ganks in high sec, jita especially.

Maybe just a small part of the war but if your group wants to help stop the Imperium we need help.

So here's how you can help

1 Because they are ganking they will go criminal so free to shoot, no war dec'ing needed

2 EW can work very well as can shield & armor reps on the freighters

3 For the brave an ew burst works very well if it hits right, remember it's jita so you could end up hitting a lot of people and get a drop in your own ss , the good part about the burst, 1 pilot can stop a 30 man gank fleet dead.

4 Counter bumping yes we bump to, when gankers use short range weapons, the use of bombers can limit this as these Ships can have a range of 50km and the tatic is to bump the freighter out of range as gank fleet land, which works very well.

5 If industry is your this, we need ship, yes we die to as we become targets for ganks ourselves, frig burst Ships fitted with mwd burst , Cruisers with oversized mwd, Oman works well, jamming ship frigs and Cruisers, what ever you can get together and fitted, myself I have been scouting with fast locking Ships, if I can I pull any large ship out of the fleets and help kill them, fleet commanders is always a good one to pull if you know them. It can upset the rest of the fleet.

So do your part in WWB, very new or inexperienced pilots contact me for any tips you need, other groups you know what to do scout for fleet, look for bumpers at gates and don't forget systems around jita, they sometimes travel a bit, be fast on loot pickups from the Gank fleet, I got 72 mill in loot after missing the Gank by seconds, so not a big disappointment hehe.

Good luck and if anyone needs help or advice please contact me.

You really should just find out where they are and drop a can. A can is warpable too by anyone so if you can get a warp in earlier than when the wrecks show up youll have more people at the gank spot or nearby in a hurry to whore and "other" things.Twisted

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Had to end sometime.

It's what they should do as they get their ass handed to them, hit supplys for the war, very goon style, jita is a problem for our scouts but other than that lots of people see the action and ask what's going on, before setting off on their long journey why watching Netflix

Except nobody but the dumbest of dumbfucks lose anything in highsec to gankers anyway. And those dumbest of dumbfucks were going to lose it with or without goons being there.

I have to disagree on that point, but even if some are dumb we don't have time to decided if they should die for being dumb, the pilots of the ships we save often chat to us after and most seem very nice, even paying us for our action.

Any tips you have would be more than welcome and taken onboard.

You know, sitting on a trade hub station waiting for something flashy red to pop up with 30 other people does sound less boring then floating around lowsec in a force recon while watching Netflix like I've been doing.

Even that would get boring after a little while though. I do like the idea of vigil anti groups in highsec guarding gates and such though. Makes the game interesting and allows you to fire your guns on someone without being a ****, wich is rare in this game.

OK Mr. Ozzie Udan, just to clear things up for those who might want to help you who are industry/hauling types and see a benefit for themselves in what you are trying to do.....but maybe don't want to say anything on here, but agree with your overall idea of helping to the cause of curtailing the gankers to some degree and might want to contribute anonymously...................

How should they do it?

Create a contract at a station of your choice for no ISK to you so you can resupply easy? If so, which station is easy for you?

If you want haulers/miners/traders etc to help with logistics and materials/hulls/equipment without posting and many might like to help but want to remain anonymous, then give more details as to where they should donate or set up contracts.

You may not hear from any of them but I bet you get some quiet donors who can spare some stuff for your cause.

It is nice to see that the goons have been reduced to being a sub-set of CODE.

That ganking in Jita is what the goons have been reduced to now, shows they really have lost both World War Bee and all credibility in the game.

This is not a signature.

We're not undock camping here, they often have multiple bumps going on, sometimes in multiple systems, it's quite hard picking the right target, we saved a Freighter the other night at 25 % hull , they switch targets at the last min, our suicide burst got there in the nick of time to break any locks then our bumper moved the freighter to safety, gank fail

Your right about people contacting me, if you want to send us Ships and fittings, contract to me in any station other than the main hub in jita or any system close by, I'll then supply our pilots.

I understand if you want to remain anonymous, many do but all support helps even just a like on this forum helps.

Funny you mention that.

Over 1 year ago myself and a few others assumed that the highsec ganking activity was a goon front to interdict commerce in the trade hub pipeline and lend better prices for their own nullsec produce.

Later observation would show this not to be the case. The freighters that were destroyed would get their cargo scooped and the cargo would end up back on the market just by a new seller. Possibly they might have even helped the market: an ISK sink on the one hand keeping inflation low, and a demand for more locally produced and imported goods.

Furthermore, the victims we contact after a gank (our own recruitment efforts) already factor in loss. This is why you still see freighters AFK and autopilot in the pipeline. The cost of shipment already factors in loss. In the military, when we made a large troop movement, we factored in how many soldiers might get killed merely by accident, and how much equipment might get broken or lost. I think the same thing is afoot here: with cost projection and loss ratio factored in, plus insurance, the freighter is already paid for long before it got ganked.

So we met a lot of space-rich players who would just shrug off that 1billion+ loss and keep going.

So the market in highsec was not affected at all.

But... things change. And possibly, now that there is an actual war on and goons are getting their lunch eaten (it's so bad that even enemies of the goons are glad to see Darius Johnson coming back trying to save "core goons" from this Imperium failcascade), it may well be possible that this is a war effort.

Still, I would doubt it. Looking at the rhetoric or propaganda from post "modern" Imperium goons as compared to the attitude of the "goons of olde", I don't think these highsec refubees (LOL - new word alert!) have enough going on in their heads to grasp this commerce interdiction thing. And their Dear Leader has gone so full turbo sh!tler he's practically giving orders in his bunker to people who left Imperium weeks ago. Heck if he was not listening to himself talk he could have come up with the idea to tell his remaining minions to burn highsec instead of holding up in Saranen and trying to pretend it was Helms Deep.

I think we may well just be dealing with angry players whose whole reason for being a goon in the first place was to live up to some ideal of being a butthead. Not the old "loveable rogue" SA goons from the past, but this new breed that projects way too much into the game takes way too much from ganking people, most of which are so passive to that, the gankers have to take measures to smack on local and if they can get one player to blow a fuse they declare salt, make blog posts, and even the shadow of a passing notion of anything that can be taken as a threat they will report. Heck they used to go into AG members bios looking for anything that could be construed as offensive so they could be reported. Meta/Project much?

What does all this mean? It means that AG might start pulling as much salt as ganking.

And when a certain class of non-goon gamer start to realize that you get tons more salt out of a failed gank than ganking some noob or space-triillionaire freighter king, things will get very interesting.

In the end I'm not sure if there is going to be a boon or bust from anti-ganking. Changes to nullsec via updates to the game and changes coming from this war leave me unsure of the future. But that's exponentially better to log into this game with unkowns instead of the predictable "meh" that was killing this game from late 2014 through 2015.
