BLOOD RAIDER GAUNTLET

Individual Sani Sabik cults may differ from each other in wildly divergent ways, but all have three things in common.

The most notable commonality is the usage of blood in the majority of their rituals. Originally, blood was only used as part of an initiation ritual, but it soon became the focal point of Sani Sabik rituals in a process known as blooding. The Blood Raiders perform massive raids and kidnap individuals to form “blood farms.” They formerly blooded children as they supposedly had “purer” blood, though under Omir Sarikusa, they turned to the blood of clones for similar reasons.

The second commonality is the belief in savants, individuals who are greater than their fellow man and capable of great achievements. The Blood Raiders view the practice more liberally, considering anyone strong enough to embrace the Blood Raider lifestyle worthy of being called one of the chosen.

The third commonality is that immortality is attainable through adherence to the Sani Sabik rituals. While tied closely to the belief in savants, it is considered separate. A belief in physical immortality was long in decline, though the propagation of life-extending implants and cloning techniques has brought its resurgence.

So with this in mind we are asking you to perform three tasks, that correlate with these three tenants of Sani Sabik, to pledge your loyalty to Blood Raiders.

Raid empire space and take the blood of a clone. Proving that you can do the simplest task of extracting the blood from a capsule in empire space. Destroy a capsule in high security space.

Embrace the Blood Raider lifestyle. Go to Delve and work with the Blood Raiders, proving you are worthy of being called chosen. Do a Blood Raider mission.

We are immortal Blood Raiders, even when our bodies are vaporized and we are re-cloned anew. Wear our logo proudly for the duration of your life as a Blood Raider. Wear a Blood Raider jacket.

The gauntlet begins 1.5.118 and is required to be completed by all current members of Hematology Advancement Program by 7.5.118 and by all new members within one week of membership.

Well...I support the general idea of Sani Sabik initiation rituals. Mine are a little different, but we don't have to agree on everything.

How about instead I just deliver another group of the cutest Sebiestors in the cluster to Gomo? It's been a couple of years, and by now I'm sure she's through with the last batch. Will that be sufficient to name me an Initiate Level One Neophyte Space Vampire?

I just love you so much, sweetie! It was a pleasure to visit you there in SwarmSeraCENDOCK.

Among other things, I learned that it takes an Impairor three trips to chip off enough Hebrawhatsit ore to actually refine into anything useful. I also learned that it is possible for both sides of a conflict to lock an interloping neutral pod and vaporize it instantly. I would have expected one side or the other to claim exclusive vaporization credit. Furthermore I discovered that it is possible for a confessor pilot to approach a stationary Impairor trapped in a bubble so closely that his guns cannot track it (even though it is not moving).

I am curious, though, as to the wisdom of entering into a bubble in order to kill an Impairor when piloting a ship (in hostile space - or anywhere, for that matter) with an ability to shoot at extended range explicitly designed into the hull...

Anyway!

The adorable bunnies that you sent are scampering beneath the ice of EJ48-O VIII. In a few thousand years, I am confident that my lycanthropes will have a good shot at fighting off the true plague of reanimated hive mind avatar zombies and possibly a village or two of genomancer goat headed demons.

As far as space vampire credentials are concerned, I'm a bit more of a Sit In The Parlor Alone And Drink Tea While Wearing Black With Red Laces night child. I've always been uncomfortable, you know, doing things (no, it's true). Not that I object to other people doing! Well, once I objected - a little bit. Years ago. Doing seemed so uncivilized and primitive. I've since come to realize that forests need their scorpions. Something has to stab the little bugs that fall behind and suck their husks dry. In fact, I just bought a beautiful crimson and baby blue scorpion from a Vhero bug boy in Hek. I have it right here...

OUCH!

Oh, this is going to be a bit of a problem.

Cylindrical Kameira! Mummy will need a fresh clone right about, well, now...

Not that I'm one to talk, but is it like, illegal for you people to have a tan? Taboo? Anemia doesn't seem like it would be a valid excuse.

I've collected 75 clone corpses in Amarr in the last 24 hours. Many I've killed myself. Do I get a free jacket?

Transversal is about relative velocity. The Confessor was moving fast enough to break its tracking even if you were not.

I doubt any Blood Raiders on here are capable of completing such a challenge, as it would require them to take time away from typing long-winded posts about imminent Blood Ages and related drivel.

We might forget they exist should they not make a new thread on the subject every other day.

You might be mistaking lesser Sani Sabik sects for Blood Raiders. Our corporation is required to complete the gauntlet. Not doing so will result in immediate termination.

You may be right about the lesser Sani Sabik. Which is sad and why us Blood Raiders separate ourselves from them.

I've actually done all of those things.

Apart from wear the jacket.

I don't like the way it overemphasises my bust, so, I don't wear it.
