Ability to disable safeguards against transfer of aggro in high-sec

Recently a change was made in high-sec that automatically stopped modules that were assisting a target to prevent unintentional transfer of aggression. This is all well and good for incursion runners, however it makes fleet fights in high-sec nearly impossible.

Any time the primary target is changed, and a ship receiving reps, cap, or tracking links shoots a different target, it effectively shuts down the entire logi chain as the safeguard cascades through the entire chain. All reps, cap transfers and links shut down fleet wide. And this happens every time a new target is called.

We learned this the hard way last night when fighting a 50 man drake gang with our 20 man BS fleet.

Please allow us to disable the safeguards if we want. Thanks.

I don't think it matters if the logi is in alliance or not. High-sec still comes with aggression flagging baggage even when at war, so the safeguards still shut everything down.

Also, using neutral logi in high-sec has been the way of things for a long time. If CCP was out to intentionally nerf neutral logi in high-sec wars, that would be one thing, but I suspect this is more of an unintentional side effect of the change aimed to protect incursion runners.

It was something that once worked, and now doesn't, so I'm just asking for a way to make it work like it used to.

I've spotted the problem.

But yeah the op is right that it should be optional.

+1 Or perhaps remove repping as a non-aggressive action.

I think most people who actually fight in high-sec would be fine with neutral logi getting a dock/jump timer, but that still wouldn't fix the issue addressed in the OP.
