See, there is that thing called "consequences". On a rough estimate, Ishtanchuk, my main, has lost over 4 billion ISK to "consequences" in EVE. That's how serious they get. And each "consequence" turns into a "mandatory thing to do and deal with that consequence".

You SHALL watch NPC aggro. You SHALL tank your exhumer and efficency be damned. You SHALL log in and set your skill queue or you won't earn SPs. You SHALL log in and kill a NPC or you will not get a cookie...

EVE may be a sandbox, but it's choke full of consequences and mandatory ways to deal with those consequences.

Consequences will never be the same. The boat's not sinking, in fact the end you're on rose up, right?
