Has something changes at scanning?

Didn't do scanning for a month.
Before when the red blop was within the blue ones, even when it was tight fitting, everything was okay. Now every second time the scanner finds nothing and i have to increase the radius of the probes. Am I just very unlucky or has something changed?

Nope, otherwise I wouldn't have seen anything. I see the blops but can't scan them down EVEN when the red is totally within the blue. But It was just me unlucky, today everything was fine

Same for me, it seems to have got more difficult.

I haven't noticed a change for signatures with good scanning skills. I haven't done any combat scanning recently.

Could it be that it's harder to see/position the probes with the new map?

I've made a test but forgot to screenshot it.

Scanned a signature, the red was completely within the blues: nothing, expanded probe scanning range but didn't move anything: found it. reduces the scanning range to the former value und the red point was outside!!! the blue blops.

IMHO the calculation of the red blop is bugged. Will send in a bug report when I have some screenshots.
