Oh look, CCP made it easier to gank. So what else is new?

What idiocy are you talking about.

Are you seriously that thick between the ears? I mean .......... Come on now ........... Don't play dumb.

Edit: CCP has a strange affection to completely scare away new players. It's amazing, like my shaved balls, that they cannot see this. It's like they are completely out of touch with the newbro community. I wonder why though, EVE is doing so amazing!!! Only 40k people playing this game (ALTS INCLUDED!!!!!!!!!!!) ... :/

What is a newbro met with? Suicide ganks. Wardec grief. More wardec grief. More wardec grief. And more wardec grief. Nobody is going to pay for that. But CCP think they will because CCP is CCP. Completely out of touch with reality.

Take that as you will. I got whiner covered, I got noob covered, I got "get better" covered.
FU. Something has to be done, and it has to be done now, despite the anger of vets. You don't like it? well you can go ******* quit then. Nobody will miss you.

So as you can see: it's not just 'on/off status'. Sometimes WL gives too much info

So you would prefer I wait all night for then to show back up? Have you ever set foot in a wormhole? That isn't free intel, I'm literally watching them! I'm happy to "work" for my intel, but I can't do that if you take away all the tools! Wormhole people already work much harder to find targets. The amount of time I've wasted since this change is ridiculous.

You are so obsessed with free intel that you can't recognize hard earned intel when it's staring you in the face. If he's in my watchlist, I've already been on grid with him. Today. This is not analogous to supers at all.

I fail to see how getting a name from a chat, a third party site that list a corp members or a friend giving you a name and then searching for hin in People & Places count as " hard earned intel" . You don't need to be on the same grid at all. At worst you or some of your corpmates need to know that someone of his corp has been in that wormhole lately.

I am advocating nothing. I simply dislike false statements.

Adding people in those situations isn't useful in wormhole space. I can add all the random people I like, it won't make them show up in the system I'm in. Even if you do add someone and they log in, you literally know NOTHING about where they are or what they are flying, and there's no way to find out without "gathering" that intel. You can assume that they are in the same system as you, but it's just an assumption - not intel.

I really could care less what those offline people are doing. What I care about is not wasting time waiting on someone I was just looking at who is now on his way to work or headed to the bar.

PS - A quick survey of your killboard shows that your opinion is even less than irrelevant. Maybe you should actually a visit a wormhole before you open your mouth again Ugh

So, what is the truth? Being informed that someone is on line has no value, so you have lost nothing with the removal of the watch list or it is useful and it was free intelligence?
You seem to advocate both things at the same time.

Knowing someone is online doesn't give me some unfair "free" advantage.

It does prevent me from wasting hours of my life playing with people who aren't playing.

If you are too dense to understand this, you don't deserve the explanation.

This guy is not a "carebear". He always plays PVP in other games.

Most of the ship destruction in the game is in empire which is not the way it is supposed to be.

PvP without consequences is not PvP. You're friend is 100% carebear. I bet he wants a reward for PvP too, win or lose, like all the other crap game provide.

The decade of horrible education where teachers gave people a ribbon for dead last will be hard to undo, but people can do it, if they try. Until then stay scared and docked and don't ruin this game with self defeating changes.
