Consolidate member websites and services

I'm counting at least four separate sites and systems:

  • account management (game time etc)
  • support (petitions, api keys)
  • bug reports
  • forum/gate


Every one of which has a separate login system.. Would it be too tough to host these on a single server, with a single login and a unified menu system?

Of course other services cannot trust the "remember me" cookie like the forum can, but thats just detail.

Just save the different passwords in your browser's password manager? I dunno about other browsers but I know saved passwords are shared across all your installs of Chrome. If you save your password on your work PC, it'll be saved on your home PC also.

I think the dev team have been doing a good job of consolidating websites over the past couple of years. EVE Gate, the forums EVE store and EVElopedia now all share the same style. I'm sure the main EVE website and blogs will come in time.

I have a specific comb for my beard.

Workaround exists, true.

Save passwords and keep all the different (5?) sites in browser bookmarks. Sorry for complaining about a minor issue, i'll get mi coat now.
