Mass Test on Singularity on Tuesday, 19th April 2016

Hi!

Apologies for the short notice but we are planning a mass test on Singularity on Tuesday, April 19th, at 17:00 UTC (= EVE time)!

What exactly is being tested?

Citadels
Server performance (during jumps)

How to connect to Singularity for this test:
Change the server from Tranquility to Singularity in the upper left corner of the new launcher and log in as normal.

Test steps:


  • Meet in FD-MLJ, at the gate to X-BV98
  • Jump to X-BV98
  • Warp to Poitot gate
  • Jump to Poitot
  • Warp to Citadel C in Poitot
  • Fight


What else should I know?
Use the command /moveme to be moved to the start system FD-MLJ
2M Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test

How do I use the /moveme? where do I type this and how should I type it out? FD-MLJ/moveme or some other way?

in any channel just type /moveme

it'll open up another window for you and you scroll through it to click on the system you want to go 0.o

Sorry for the dumb question, still pretty new, when you say we will get 2 million skill points, what does that entail exactly??

It means, that you will receive 2 million free SP in your "unallocated" pool, which you can immediately apply into any skill. 2 million is about enough to train 4 skills to level 5.

usually within 24-48 hours after the testing is done they give out 2mil sp to all participants to spend on skills they want on the sisi server only. This is basically just to give people a bump to test more things if they lack the skills to do so plus they need the help too so that they can release the best possible version of the update as possible.

Is it possible for me to log in to the test server if this account was originally made through Steam? Recently I gave it an account name and purchased time through EVE itself rather than Steam, but it says my login info is incorrect.

/moveme could be eves greatest improvement but but for a toon only if you can move a ship you could move toons into stations so people could teleport to a station so they can join a corp
