Bannings.

I'm by no stretch Eve "famous" for gankings, but I now feel like if I participate in this type of play I will inevitably be banned.

Is it a scare tactic? Or are bannings legit? I've never experienced any wrong doing by anyone that would constitute a ban. Nor have I had any interaction with a ganker that was anything but polite(kind of like a customer service rep).

Do they give a reason, or is it something like "it's our game we will ban whomever we like".

I never thought I could be scared straight, but I'm a little scared to carry out any sort of shenanigans if a ban is where I could end up.

Should I just be minding my manners? I always do, but maybe give it a more conscious effort. Or are we just at the mercy of CCP?
