They were recently seeded @ 5,000,000 NBP sell order.
Currently are sell orders up in Jita - all set up by the same player.

9780 Structure Defensive Systems @ 3.9 mln
9708 Structure Electronic Systems @ 3.9 mln
9669 Structure Engineering Systems @ 3.8 mln
10,033 Structure Missile Systems @ 3.2 mln

Can someone make an educated guess what is going on here?
I cannot believe one bought 40,000 skillbooks accidentially and is now dropping them with a loss of app 50 bln.

Someone exploited a bug that reduced the the seed price of the books and bought several thousand of each, check the Price History in The Forge.

This has basically reduced a 425b ISK sink to a ~7b ISK sink while netting one person at least ~150b profit, and others either saving or profiting ~150b.

Edit: It appears there isn't much info there as someone who had taken advantage of the bug and explained what happened has deleted their posts.

On day 1 the skillbooks dropped in price as you would buy more of them, I am unsure if it is an intended feature or a bug. Because the demand was so high, the prices dropped all the way down to 75.000 ISK each. so, most of these skillbooks were bought for that price...

Isn't that a bannable offense? Seems pretty foolish to make it that obvious if you got it all from an exploit What?
