yes. and all that need to be done is change cap warfare resistance to apply only to projected effects, and not to local cap consumption.



But... how do I do that with that shameful cap warfare resistance? I am absolutelly perplexed O.o

I get constant differnces between in game EHP and EFT's display of EHP.... I check all the moduls/items , base numbers and skills and both are the same. Why is that? Is it a diff in calculations or does the game not show EHP to the full extent?

It's different calculations. Eve strictly goes by the weakest resist, like you are always shot by the perfect damage type. EFT I think uses an average. You can add different damage profiles to the EFT, btw. There's pre-made ini files for that somewhere. Haven't a link ready, but google should sort you out here.

First of all, thanks for continuessly support of EFT . It's simply the best tool for EVE.

A small bug for linux users: You can't use "-" on the main keyboard for entering item types with "-" . I always have to use the "-" from the numeric keypad. Besides this issue, it works great under wine.

If i may request a new feature, it would be so cool if you add a item type comparison list, like in eve directly, with the option to fit one of those modules in the list into the ship.. maybe as a "replacement" for the item, which initiated the comparions window.

In the info window you can right click the different attributes and make them visible in the market group viewer, it's sorta like the compare window in EVE.

Hello,


I'm looking for some help with linking my character to the EFT. Shocked

I have created the API key in Eve and selected the correct information it needs to draw, when I come to 'connect' it brings up a dialogue box that is blank with no characters to select.

I have tried redoing API keys, re-downloading the EFT tool, but to no avail.

To note: I also get this issue with Pyfa, I tried it just in case. But EVEmon works with a separate API.

Any ideas out there?

I've loved this tool for a long time... However, the hosting options are either potential spyware vectors (.ru sides of things getting flagged by AV) or terrible popup ad hosts (Juno lately).

Can you add in next version of eft the Lux Kontos?(the drifters main weapon)? It has 1000 omni dps, perfect tracking and great range.

Does the neut/nos resistance even need to be a feature in EFT? Does anyone actually create a fit with projected effects of various neuts/nos on them, just to see?

It seems, that there's a bug with either Hurricane, or a Hurricane Fleet Issue. Simple Hurricane has more DPS, while it has less volley damage. Tested with 650 Arty II and Quake damage.

Normal Cane gets 5% dmg and 5% fire rate bonus, Fleet Cane gets 10% dmg, so the fleet one does more dmg per shot but firerate gives more dps than flat dmg bonus.

Can you please autosave fittings when the application is closed? I have lost so many fits due to not closing the fitting window in client before closing the client itself.

Or make a periodic auto save

it does save if you close the client before the window (maybe some issue on your side)?

Confirmed. I very often close the client without first closing the fitting window but have never lost a fit by doing so.

Probably because the CREST info has been changed today and the latest version of EFT is from March.

We will have to wait till we get a update for EFT, which will come soon because there is new modules and ships as well.
