Implants: L2-4 mssions - recommendations?

I am close to spend shitload of isk on a slave or snake set, however is that a good idea or are there others I could benefit from?

I have been reading about them and those two seems to be most benefincial for me.

Please advice.

Slave is kind of useless unless you base your tank on raw buffer and just repair between engagement in station. Snake can be usefull if there is a lot of slow-boating around in your mission.

Ascendancy are usually used if you want to splurge ISK to make your mission faster because a rather large part of your mission running is spend in warp.

No you're not blitzing, I hope you switched to the fit Zhilia recommended. Be more aggressive, your fits tend to be severely overtanked. Use a BS for level 4s.

Put damage implants in.

I'd consider buying some skill injectors rather than implants to help towards your BS and fitting/tank/gunnery. These will serve you better in the short term than a set of shiny implants.

If you want to farm, use a battleship.

If you want to learn the basics of how to apply damage to and mitigate damage from big and small ships, you don't need any implants and can bring any ship and guns you want to learn how to use. It's no substitute for a real fight with a human opponent, but it will give you a feel for the basics and you won't go in totally clueless of how to fly your ship.

I have not tried Zhiila's fit yet as the one I posted here, is one I found somewhere else. I will play around in EFT and see what Zhiila's does for me (no pun intended) :)

imo skip the "blingy" implants altogether. Avoid the temptation to outfit an expensive ship with lots of expensive stuff. Don't be a "loot pinata".

You don't need it.

If you use a gunnery based BS for L4's there are 2 +DPS implants that you can use

a general +X% to ALL Turrets
a specific +X% to Large Turret

both sit in different slots .. eg 7 + 10
and each bonus stacks

missiles and drones do not receive the same benefit from implants and are limited to just 1 +DPS implant.
