Remote selling ships

I have come back to the game after 5 years and, needless to say, things have changed.

I have significant assets in null, in stations where the owners don't like me enough.

So, I am sitting in a safe spot,, 4 systems away and selling my stuff off remotely.

So far, so good.

But...even after repackaging, I can't sell my ships remotely. Google isn't throwing up any answers for me.

Does anyone have any suggestions, please? I am looking at 300 mill ship value, so if I can avoid losing it, that would be nice.Blink

Are you in the same region as your items?

Do you have the Marketing skill at level 2 or higher?

If yes to both, try selling the items from the Search tab of your Assets window.

Thanks for the responses.

Yes, I am in the same region. Yes, I have Marketing lvl 2. Also, I have been selling other things successfully.

I came back to it, today and was able to place to sale order...weird. I deffo couldn't yesterday. And there are still things today that I can't.

What I am guessing, now, is that there is a delay at the server end between between me doing things like selling, repackaging, trashing...there is a delay between do those things and the effects appearing on my screen

So, for example, I repackaged the ship, but it didn't show up that way, and therefore I couldn't selling. But I come back today, the actions have been processed and I can only now place the sale orders

Very slow.

There is usually a 5 minute minimum delay in doing something to assets in your assets tab, and the effect showing up, whether that is delivery of items, trashing or repackaging
