Just looking for some ideas on a good minimitar or caldari ship to jump into faction warfare with, Preferably destroyer or frig. Thanks!

Any frig you want, extra points for the ones that look cool.

Check killboards for fits, or ask your corpmates.

The meta is pretty balanced with a few being better than other in certain situations, but the price is way higher on those.

As pushdogg says they're pretty much all viable. It depends on where your skills are best and what you want to fly. If you want to fly autocannons then go with the Rifter, Slasher or Thrasher. If you want to fly hybrids then Merlin or Cormorant. If you want to fly missiles then Breacher, Kestrel, Condor, Talwar or Corax.

Once you've decided which ship you want to go with you can ask for specific fits here.
