Isn't this wardec system very stupid, or at least making many to quit?

17. Redundant and re-posted threads will be locked.

As a courtesy to other forum users, please search to see if there is a thread already open on the topic you wish to discuss. If so, please place your comments there instead. Multiple threads on the same subject clutter up the forums needlessly, causing good feedback and ideas to be lost. Please keep discussions regarding a topic to a single thread.

It's rare that I need to close threads in this section of the forums however this topic is turning into a discussion on the merits of the war dec mechanics, which has been discussed endlessly all over these forums.

At this time there is no indication from CCP that changes to war declarations are in the works, although they might change their mind in the future. As such, it would be prudent to become comfortable with war declaration mechanics, even if you feel that they are unfair. You have received numerous suggestions regarding how to mitigate the impact of war declarations, including a list of suggestions from myself personally. I would suggest that you read through the suggestions again.

Above all else, do not allow your corp to dictate to you how to play the game. Staying docked under war declarations is certainly not how I would want to play the game, and if you don't want to pay to sit in a station then find a corp that will let you play how you want while at war. Meanwhile, use the other accounts that you mentioned to live in space that is already lawless and avoid the worry of war declarations all together. :)

Good luck!
