I tried posting this but post did not seem to apply. So writing again.

I have two video cards. GTX 770's. The SLI cable is connected but not configured in Windows yet. New cables coming and i am waiting to do it then.

My question is this. When i pull drop down menu in video settings in client it shows 3 cards. But as i said i only have two physical cards. What is the third card option?

What i have been doing is opening one client and choosing video card one. Then launching second client and choosing video card TWO. But i notice i am getting uneven usage from the card. Video one is using more GPU than the second when i imagined they would perform near equally.

Hope this is not falling under the stupid question category. But if someone who understands this better can help i would appreciate it.

(Its not on-board video as that is disabled and is a different type altogether and is not listed as an option.)

In my old config i had three monitors. But two lower end Nvidea cards. It always listed just the two cards. But in that config it was DVI and two HDMI.

Interesting though that i did not consider monitors as a possible reason for showing 3 cards. I do run game spread on all three for a kind of a surround effect.
