Capitals & Fighters Mass Test - ROUND 2 Thu 7th April @ 17:00 EVE time

Greetings Test enthusiasts!

We are planning another mass test for the new and updated Capitals & Fighters gameplay on Singularity on Thursday, April 7th, at 17:00 UTC (= EVE time)!

What exactly is being tested?

  • Fighter Code
  • Server Performance (Testing performance improvements based on the bugs found in Tuesdays test))


IMPORTANT: Functionality, numbers, art, all these things are still in the late stages of development and may be adjusted before release.

What ship should I bring?

Primary required ship classes: Carriers and Supercarriers with as many different fighter types as possible.
Secondary ship requirement: Supercarriers fitted with doomsdays
Also welcome in small numbers: Titans fitted with doomsdays

How to connect to Singularity for this test:

Change the server from Tranquility to Singularity in the upper left corner of the new launcher and log in as normal.

Test steps: (subject to change)

  1. Form up at the X-BV98 gate in FD-MLJ
  2. Jump to X-BV98
  3. Launch and scoop fighter squadrons as many times as possible (for around 5 minutes to test server stability)
  4. Direct fighters to orbit, approach and keep at range on various objects. (for around 5 minutes to test server stability)
  5. Both Fleets: Align to your respective Fleet beacons at the waiting Citadel and prepare for fleet fight
  6. Warp to fleet beacons and commence fleet fight (Using primarily Fighters and Titan and Supercarrier doomsdays)



What else should I know?

  • Use the command /moveme to be moved to the start system FD-MLJ
  • Not as specified above If you can't bring a fighter capable carrier, smartbombing subcaps are also welcome.
  • 2M Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test

Can anybody tell me were to get Skill Injectors for the mass test?
Ii would like to participate, but i can't fly a Carrier currently? Sad

Or are they available via market after the mirror?

unfortunately english is not my native language and i don't understand really the meaning of that.
Even Google translate does not help Sad

Seems that i have to come in a subcap and ask in chat massquestions...

If you haven't already, check your redeem queue on Singularity (ALT+Y). I gave everyone skill injectors and Capital ships :)

Damn really wish I joined up today. Would have liked to have flown a carrier :) but my drop down box didn't have the test server highlighted to switch. I'm assuming the test server isn't loaded? Hopefully I can partake in the next one :)

Didn't make it to the meet up system. Didn't know how to do the move me command. (figured it out now)

I did get in a Hel though which I'm 43 days away from on tranquility, and brought my cyno alt in to jump around.

I bought some Firbolgs and tried to set them on some rats in low sec, but they didn't want any of it.

Well for those of use that have never flown a carrier, let alone a titan, providing us with a highly suggested fit would be very useful. Along with the type of fighters/drones needed, etc.......
