I'm running a Sniper Sentry Domi for lvl 4 missions. My current fit is as follows:

425mm Prototype Gauss Gun, Lead x3
Large Solace Remote Armour Rep

Sensor Booster II, Targeting Range Script x2

My issue is with the Sensor Boosters: they don't appear to be doing anything, my target range is still 84km and doesn't change when I unfit/refit them. I was hoping for over 100km re my Wardens, which as I understand it is not uncommon.

Is this a bug? I should have a much better range with the Sensor Boosters, no? Am I missing something?

I would also suggest to put drone control range and more omnidirectional tracking links in there. If you sit 100 + km from NPC you do not need to tank that much usually. But your wardens can have optimal up to 140 km and it is a pity not to use that.

Is able to apply over 750 DPS at 110 optimal, has over 145 km drone control range, where its wardens still can put over 600 DPS.
Its medium armor repairer is able to give you over 80 EHP repair butyou should be fine, cause at 110-140 km range not many NPC can hit you at all.
With Garde II and multifrequency crystals it can put over 900 DPS at close range (40 km). Sometimes your battleship buffer will allow you to sit and tank few minutes, appling that DPS on hard targets before you hit LMJD and jump 100+ km away into safe spot, where you can fix your armor and wait till shield will regenerate it self. Then LMJD back to MTU or gate.

Leasers allow you to carry less ammunition. If you use standard crystals instead of factional, it also let you fire without additional cost for ammo. But main advantage is instant range adjustment as you do not need to wait the ammo to reload. You usually use guns on soft, small targets, that burn at zero transversal 110+ km toward you. So your drones can focus on bigger targets.
