I think I convinced him to start Eve again. He sold his toons long ago so he has to start over. So when I get his email, I will be sending him some isk but he isn't sure what he really wants to do but he says he always wanted to learn the market.

Someone else will have to show him, it is above my head. But I did succeed! \o/

Well I just blow stuff up to keep the market going, don't know about making isk in it. Hopefully someone will show him and he will do better. All he did was mining when he was playing.

Once we get our wh citadel built, we'll be opening up our doors and adding a few folks. We could use a 'newb' like you!

I have some hangar room, you can park any spare thanatos you have. It'll save you some hangar space.

I still can't believe you sold all your characters and quit the game just to get out of a debt to me. I mean... shucks, I'm flattered and all, but 1 thanatos carrier isn't exactly a lot of scratch these days. And sadly, due to the various moral codes that bind me, your debt has been transferred to your new character (if anything - I'm a rule follower).

The debt is now yours, I can't undo it.

I remember killing that guys' Tengu a few months ago... It was weird because he had so many stabs and we only had two long points, also Onyx doing nothing, Golem warping there later and he mumbled something about picking his kids up from school..
Guy was obviously very special so we left after blowing up his Tengu :P. We thought nobody can be THAT stupid, and it literally smelled like a big-ass trap.
Alas I don't remember the other two characters' names that were on field.. Obviously his alts..

Out of all the people I ran into when I played way back when, this is the person that stands out distinctly.

My old character was in Nemesis and I was a miner with four accounts, all of them in his corporation. I would do mining ops solo since I was not on when the corporation did their sanctioned mining ops. I remember mining and saving up about 180m worth of ore to sell to them in one chunk. I calculated the total based on the prices he had on the website. I did up the contract with the total and sent a mail to the mining director with the breakdown of number of units and price per unit and went to bed.

When I woke up the next morning and got online, I got an email back asking where I got the prices for each unit from. I saw he was online so I convo'd him. During that conversation, a lot of unknown information started to come to light. Apparently, the prices I saw on the website was the fleet mining ops price, after the 30% cut off of the top for 'corp tax'. The corporation was actually buying the ore at Jita -30% (not including the 10% corp tax) so he said my 180m of ore was worth 115m isk to the corp. I told him I could just randomly sell it and get 145m isk for that ore and why would I lose 25-30m ore to just sell it to the corp who would then refine it and make 155-165m isk.

Unfortunately for the corp, he had a teamspeak and there were several miners online doing their thing as I was. I then started to leak out the information that I was getting and that we were being ripped off and was getting half of what were supposed to be getting from our hard-earned ore mining. That riot made most of the miners in the corporation leave within a week. They didn't hold a mining fleet ops after that due to lack of interest from the few miners that decided to stay.

Then Murray got a bright idea that we would move to a highsec pocket located somewhere in deep nullsec. I contracted a lot of modules and ships to another corpmate, the one that Murray told us to contract to, so he could move our stuff to the station we would base out of. We had to get ourselves there and had no help. One of my alts got caught in nullsec and got podded...twice. Well, long story short, the corpmate decided to just up and leave the corp with the 6-7b worth of modules and ships (including all of my stuff from all 4 of my characters). That left me completely broke.

A couple of weeks later, he was the only one in the corp and I decided to quit the game. He ruined it for me but Morgan has been pressuring me for a while to come back, so here I am. :)

But if I see him, I will shoot at him without a second thought. Bastard...
