Does anyone have any information on this escalation site?

I recieved it yesterday from a Serpentis Outpost, but I can not find any information on it in google anywhere, or on any of the eve wiki sites I know of.

Just like to know a little bit about what I'm warping into.. anyone run it before?

Many things in exploration are not well documented. You could be the first to document it if you so choose, you just have to explore it. Cool

I've actually done this one a few times, just not recently since Ive not been on eve in a few months. I know that if the escalation goes all the way to the end, the final stage will be in 0.0, and not necessarily NPC 0.0. If you did the outpost in Placid then you are often sent into Syndicate however. I cant remember the final stage - I know it has a few scrammers, BC and BS, and either an overseer or outpost to destroy. Loot can be very lucrative Corelum A-Type/Vigilant BPO.

The stages before this are relatively straight forward, any low sec exploration ship can do it. Cloaky T3's will be fine. One of the stages might have mercenaries if I remember correctly.

I completed this escalation a few days ago using a cloaky tengu,
Given what rewards you can get it is very easy the whole way through, with only the final site offering any real difficulty.

The first two escalation sites consist of only a handful of cruisers and BCs with a shadow cruiser. I recieved the escalation upon destruction of the shadow cruiser. the third stage has a couple of low end BS rats included but again will escalate upon killing the faction spawn if one is present.

The final stage is in nullsec (it sent me to Syndicate) and is a two room complex,. The first room had a couple of Core barons and a number of cruiser and frigate size npcs, when you have disposed of these you can enter the second room. This room had 2 more BS rats a bunch of cruisers and BCs and four scrambling frigs. The overseer is a cruiser sized rat called shadow corelum infantry it doesnt have a higher bounty than a normal rat and dies very easily.

The loot from this can be excellent and it is well worth following it through to the end, I got a Corelum A-type AB, a vigilant BPC and an A-type energized membrane when I completed it. The complex itself is not the real threat its getting there thats the problem.

Moving along, thanks to the poster who gave the update on what to expect, terminating in 0.0 and loot types.. appreciated..

Did the first stage of the escalation last night, took my pal a while to get his ship together and join me (training a friend on the mechanics of eve)..

anyways the first stage was very easy, and send us to a second stage 16 jumps away through some nasty PVP'ers space.. Thankfully the actual dest system looks like a dead end nobody goes to, so we'll see what tonight brings :)

running the sites in an armor / t2 sentry ishtar with a covert scout.. nubby friend is tagging along in a passive/purger rigged shield cane so hopefully he can deal with any neut towers we may encounter.

I just finished this escalation chain.

You can finish it in a stealth bomber . You just need to be carefull because frigates do quite a lot of damage if they come close.

A bit of manual piloting and you are safe.

In the last room I suggest that you kill Shadow serp and bookmark the wreck, then warp out and warp back in to that wreck bookmark.

I got Vigilant BPC and Corelum A-Type Energized Reflective Membrane

This is screenshot of the last room of the escalation.

The amount of insults and looking down on people that happens in "need help with exploration" threads is astounding.

It isn't documented. Overtank and be careful. Be ready to warp out immediately if you see that its beyond your expectations. Expect heavy damping, missile towers and possible web towers. I've seen Angle rats in one undocmumented Guristas escalation; so carry spare hardeners just in case.

Edits. Advice is about generic "difficult Serpentis escalation". Ofc it can be easier than that.
