Eh, RL politicians are RL politicians. They're old, fat,tired guys who like to play RL Game of Thrones and embezzle money and stash it somewhere to make even more money just for the sake of it. IBTL!

From what i've observed this isn't even that Groundbreaking in the real world, the issue behind it is the fact that it stretches so far and wide across nations and outs people that were previous only THOUGHT to have skeletons in their closet. I dont' think it really matters in the sense that it's the most interesting news out there, the only reason (IN MY PERSONAL OPINION) is that it's been leaked from multiple sources. Not an official article, and thus, much like Wikileaks, earning the attention of those who freak out at new leaks when it affirms their suspicion toward a political figure (Or group of figures). Not really fresh news either, as oversea accounts is something the whole world acknowledges.

(this is all my opinion, I know i'm wrong but i wanted to say it)

I think the only way you could tie this into Eve was for Fanfest.

Wasn't the Prime Minister suppose to be there to give a talk? I thought when they announced the initial schedule he or some other politician was going to speak.

The president of iceland was to give the closing speech at fanfest.

I am curious what the situation in Reykjavik is like right now. I guess the PM stepped down after all the demonstrations in front of his building. What is it like for CCP there? possible impacts on Fanfest?
