Test Server Feedback

Hi all,

We will be applying a new mirror to Singularity at some point before the end of the week.

What is a Mirror?

Mirroring is a process whereby we take a backup of the TQ database, remove some sensitive information from it such as POS placement, moon mineral composition, etc. and use it to effectively replace Singularity's DB with a more "current" copy.

What does it mean?

For players, mirroring usually means a few things, which can be beneficial, or annoying, depending on your situation and POV.

• Account/Character Data Renewal - The status of your account, characters and assets, following a mirror, will be as they were on TQ at the time the mirror was taken. This can mean that you have access to characters you bought from the bazaar since the last mirror, any changes to your account will be reflected (e.g. resubscribing or upgrading from trial) and your assets will be as they were on TQ.
• Citadels, POSes, Sov is all reset - None of the citadels you have setup will exist following the mirror. We understand this is an inconvenience but also it assures us that the end-to-end process of Citadel construction, placement and use is being tested repeatedly.
• Industry jobs reset - In similar fashion to the above, any industry jobs you have in progress will simply be gone. We aim to mitigate elements of the inconvenience surrounding this by issuing titans, supercarriers, skill injectors and such via the redeeming queue shortly following the mirror being applied (assuming it is applied during working hours, otherwise might be the next working day)
• Mass Test Skillpoints - When the mirror is applied, the mass test skillpoints will go away, but Habakuk usually reapplies points from the last 5 mass tests we ran, within a couple of days following the mirror.

When was the mirror taken?

It was taken from TQ on 3rd April (unsure of exact time)

Can you help me anchor my citadel/build my titan/bump my sov indices?

No. That being said, occasionally developers will have the time and inclination to jump on and do some of these things, so you can feel free to ask in local or the Singularity channel but please accept a "no" for an answer - developers are very busy. Under no circumstances should you ask developers for skill injectors, skillpoints or other assets, as this contravenes the test server rules.

if so we will get only supercarriers or titans for testing. why not seed AT ships on sisi. that golden magnate can be super tanky :D

the /boostsov works normally

you could always report them for breaking the combat rules and they'll receive either a temp or perm ban for it. it doesnt hurt having more people looking at things and testing them out, it could potentially add more buyers for supers / **** on tranq which may deepen your wallet if your a seller.

what world do u live in people don't get punished on sisi unless CCP or ISD are on at the time

Nope, just a standard daily update.

EDIT: Yes! We are applying a mirror to an internal test server now, then we will be applying to Sisi, so likely before end of day.

Are we back to normal or will you be giving us the Titans again or extra SP for testing?

No injectors unless 15 day rules gets lifted please.

I believe it was only an update... no mirror copy over yet....
