Typing ' results in " in game - but not out of game

Good afternoon,

When I type an ' in Eve, it results in a ". If I type an ", I get "". Bit weird and it only happens in Eve and I can't find other issues with the keyboard or characters, everything else seems fine. Yet this is irritating due to the fact that you often use ' in English abbreviations.

I've tried alt-shift and such but no luck so far. Any ideas?
