Looking for a cheaper Entosis Ship:

Prefer Tankier that can kill small stuff fairly easy/quick.
Prefer Cheaper (Thinking Cruiser, but BC Acceptable if needed)

Cheap is a relative term especially since you are going all the way up to BC. I will assume T2 is out of the question though. I will also assume the T2 entosis link to out of the question, so you are not going to be outside of T1 range.

Also, will you have support?

If you have support, something with a buffer and local rep bonus would be the best. Brutix or Myrm would come to mind here since they get local rep bonus and can fit a plate or two if you do not need weapons.

A drake gives you better resists that you can have with a decent buffer and passive regen.

Speed is sort of out since you are limited to the T1 link range, so basically brink tank something.

If you are solo or small gang, you probably want something that can fight back as well and can kill small stuff. In this case, anything with a utiilty high will be the best.
