So a small ship ganker/podder who camps in highsec with his smartbombing mallers gets podded and he can't handle it.


The best part when was he claimed to know more about pod mechanics than anybody in the game. Twisted

Uh, no. Hub humping with a smart bombing maller waiting for a crystal egg to come by is not how you know pod mechanics. It's when you do real PVP as such you shoot pods with actual guns and missiles AND at times end up in a pod yourself being shot at.

But then, to feign surprise would be to have expected too much from the "victim" here.


And yes pods can be instalocked. I learned that myself the hard way Shocked

I expected to see a Svipul, not a Confessor but it's a moot point. That's what happens when the scanres bonus on sharpshooter mode is a 100% boost not subjected to diminishing returns. You just need good enough ping. Pretty much any random Russians do the same in the Cal/Gal warzone.

Yeah, it's certainly been around for a while. Interceptors can do it even easier, but T3Ds bring the blap to actually kill your pod. You could in theory do it in an arty Stiletto too. In the case of OP's Confessor, it has damage projection out to ~74km with enough alpha to 1hit ko the pod.

Quite contrary I think he handles it quite well. No foul language, no vows of revenge nothing. Just bewilderment mixed with a little delusion of grandeur. The average miner seems to react much worse to losing a venture.

One of my fav FPS games was COD2. I played that game from the end of 2005 through 2012 when my WinXP system on which it ran finally up and died. Since then all I had was a work laptop running Win7, and would not load.

My weapon of choice on the Armed Rodents server was the noob canon. AKA, Shotgun.

Eventually my skill with this weapon was so good, players new to that server thought I was running a headshot bot.


NOTHING was more pleasing than hearing in the comms "OMG HAX!"
