I liked to casually mine crap ore and rat/salvage occasionally in hi-sec. It was relaxing. I liked the game and the market. I paid CCP their monthly fee for the privledge. Been doing this for a long time.

Yesterday my Catalyst was ganked in 0.9 space. Destroyed. before Concord 's eyes. Yea, I know...it's a thing. Like the Mob coming into your bakery and demanding protection money.

The comments from hi-sec gankers indicating that because they didn't think miners were true Eve participants, not doing PvP and all that, we were at fault and fair game to be F'd are moronic. You'be great Donald Drumpf fans.

Ok, CCP. I hope the VR stuff works out better for you than World of Darkness and Dust did. Since you've decided to stay out of it and let hi-sec miners lose thier ****, I've cancelled my subscription. But I will be in Marthia for the next week blowing out my ISK with trash ships and letting jerks destroy them.

No, you can't haz my stuff. I'm letting your minerbumping.com turds waste it by blowing it up. You should pod me while your at it.

If CCP can do without my money, fine. If you can do without my stuff, which I'd gladly give away, fine too.

And if CCP can't find some way for us weak, carebear miners to safely waste $14.95 a month, I'll take it somewhere else, like Starbucks or something.

I'll be in Marthia around 8PM most nights for the next couple weeks. Blow me the F up. And, yes, CCP won't miss my subscription fee, but if Hilmar is reading this, I hope you know what your doing. I sure won't be telling anyone I know to play this game while you sit back and let players dictate your business model.

Also, you might try mining in a Barge, Catalyst is the wrong tool for the job.

You can casually mine good ore in null and there's no highsec community, just honest raiders that will kill you instead

I mine in a Retreiver, I just ran by the belt in a Cat and got popped.

No killmail, 2/10 for effort.

A pro would have made the code alt (takes 10 mins), stuck it in CODE.'s newbie corp, done a couple of ganks and then ganked his own alt. That would be a good troll who is dedicated to his craft, that I can respect.. This is mediocre at best.

here are some tips for you to prevent that from happening buy damage control

give up a little bit of profit for protection other words do not use mining upgrades in your low slots but some defensive modules down there instead

I came in this game knowing I wasn't safe everywhere and by the way you should have kill rights so you have means to get revenge

I don't see many people doing that for no reason at all you must have done something to **** these people off to make them come out of their way to kill you by making this response they know they're going to have fun killing you so maybe quitting is your best option
