Aim for 2 x +3 to augment your primary stats (whatever you're remapped for / training). Relatively cheap and will give a reasonable boost. If you're banging around in FW space and you're a noob you won't want to be replacing them every 5 minutes though.

Sometimes you hit the bar and sometimes the bar hits you...

If you are brand new you could go for the Int/Per remap and then grab some +2 implants. The +3 implants are good but 10.000.000 ISK each is quite alot of ISK for a brand new player and the +2 implants should only cost about half that amount.

If your skill training list is 'diverse' (have skills with different primary/secondary attributes) it will probably be better to have four +2 implants instead of two +3 ones but I haven´t done the math so don´t take it as a guarantee.

If you are gonna go for FW and thus actively seek out PvP alot you could even stick with +1 implants (or even no implants) if you expect to loose ships (and get podded) frequently.

good advice so far. I just want to add that you might want to make sure that you've learned how to get your pod out before you start putting implants into a PvP clone.

I would complete all of the Tutorial mission and then do so security missions. Storyline missions sometimes give you implants (not +3s at lov lvl).

Some call me insane. If the universe is sane, then I embrace that label.
