I am absolutely baffled that people read "monument" and "commemoration" and still think "fully operational outpost of old".

Like, seriously.

Now, even if some of their husks are to be left in the game, who is to decide which ones are "important", and which aren't? Anyone wants to suggest a list of noteworthy outposts?

I suggest making a new thread in the Ideas forum, an appeal to CCP to commemorate this or that specific outpost :) Those that are especially old, saw historic battle, or was the home of a player that died IRL as the OP mentioned.
