Hanshake failed exactly at 10 ET.
Interestingly it says all the tim 22850 Players online... who are these lucky guys?

Yeah. This sort of thing is actually very rare, the EVE admins/dev have done a good job in general.

As long as I can block all the jita scammers I want an occasional server hiccup is fine by me. The game runs much more smoothly than any of the other online games I have played. I have played a lot of online games. So "failures' are not constant. What is constant, so far, is the fun I have with this game. Especially when it's played with no pants on! :p

Same issue here with the Handshake error. I saw that the API Game server went offline at 6 am est. Back up now but I think CCP needs to reboot everything now.
