no matter what I do, if i approach an object (even small ones like a MTU) or another ship, or double click, my ship ignores what im telling it to do and just flies "up" into the air at max speed.... when i tell it to stop, it pauses for a second.... then keeps flying up....

I have no controllers or anything plugged into my computer nor do i use any macros of any kind.

I had similar problem then i realized my shift button wasn't released.
You might check some key stucks

Me and another from my corp were having the same problem. Almost like the controls were doing the exact opposite of what I wanted.
