Can't connect to the EVE API but can still login

Starting this week I have been unable to use any applications that utilize the EVE API including but not limited to EVEMon, jEVEAssets, and PYFA. The issue isn't limited to just my eve PC, it affects every device on my home network (none of my phones or computers can reach api.eveonline.com via web browser for example).

I'm really confused what's causing this because about a month ago I was able to connect to the API. Then I went on a long trip out of state and was gone for a month, returned this week, and now I can't connect.

The best error message I've gotten so far is from EVEmon which returns "A request to api.eveonline.com failed because no response was received during the timeout period" and as I alluded to earlier trying to reach api.eveonline.com via web browser also returns a timeout message.

I'm not sure if it helps at all but strangely enough I also can't connect to inbox.google.com anymore either, timeout issues. I can use google.com, but inbox times out.

Anyone have a clue what might be causing this?

Did your anti-virus updated? Is it Avast?

I don't use anti-virus on any of my devices so it's not that.

Do you still have this issue?
