1. In Eve we can harvest: moons, asteroids, wrecks, planets, ice, gas, but not stars. why not? Would it be possible to include a series of skills and harvest energy from the stars in game? Maybe include a new ship, rig or module designed to gather energy.

2. We can mail, message, contract, cyno from one system to another but we need to dock to contact an agent. Why? If this game is in the future wouldn't communication be possible without docking so we could run missions longer? Would it be possible to include a series of skills to allow long distance communication via new deployable module for secure comms?

3. We can scan for combat, gas, data, relic, ship sites but we can't scan down wanted criminals for bounty hunting npc/pc? Would it be possible to create a real bounty hunting career where capsuleers scan down wanted npc for bounties with nearly perfect scanning skills, or a new type of scanning skillset designed for bounty hunting?

4. There are ships with scan, yield, rate of fire, range, tracking bonus etc and not one ship hull in the game with an additional bounty bonus of even .5%? Would it be possible to add an additional bounty bonus to frigates for example to allow players to increase isk generation for newer players? Perhaps restricted to security status to avoid isk injected inflation?

5. How about module boosts for fleet member damage projection with a drone focus, missile, hybrid, projectile, laser focus with respective skills trained to 5 for boosting? Like wormhole effects but not in wormholes.

6. Create a ship capable of nomadic gameplay for a variety of careers not just exploration for those who prefer to fly solo without a station, citadel to generate isk creation. Or fit the nomadic mothership capable of deep space long term deployment to harass entities to avoid jump fatigues. If players could use the Rorqual in high sec the amount of isk, plex, and minerals would be an enormous boost to the in game economy and inspire an alternative to typical Terran tactics.

7. Create a new variety of weapons, ammo, skills, and modules that support a more Xeno based weapon assault system instead of classical human based sci-fi weapon platforms: missile, laser, bullets, rails.

6. I use my bowhead to pack up and move when I'm tired of looking at tbe same nebula. Most of the ships I use regularly fit right inside.
6b. A massive increase of raw materials will make prices drop as miners will sell lower to get people to buy them. Great for the consumer, not so good for the seller.

7. What kind of weapons are you talking about? We have ballistic, missile, and energy weapons already. What exactly do you mean by 'xeno' weapons, keeping in mind there are no aliens in the game?

1. Because stars are hot, and everything else is not. Hot things burn.

2. You've got a point there. I don't see why I need to be face-to-face with an agent.

3. You can... the combat sites have ships with bounties...

4. Because the ships are good at those things. It makes no sense for a ship to magically dispense money, or for the space police to reward you more for being in a specific ship.

5. Don't do it for fleet. Do it for grid, a poor choice will benefit the opposition. Make people think about what they do instead of it just being a default must-have. Personally, I'd go for damage types, not weapon types.

6. I legit have no idea how you think highsec Rorq will inspire new tactics.

7. What makes you think aliens won't also use missiles and lasers? We use guns not because our culture espouses* them. We use guns because they're effective.

*caveat Republicans excepted.

1- why? What would we harvest? What would it be used for? Why would that be a good addition to the game?

2 - totally agree. Along with a lot of other changes to missions id like to see the ability to accept missions remotely.

3 - locator agents and combat probes. Hunting a player with a bounty on their head should not be different to hunting any player.

4 - no. Ratting is not a role. Combat is the role. And a 5% damage/rof/tracking bonus etc translates into more isk/hour anyways.

5 - boosts are a cancer in the game. Getting boosts across a whole fleet just because you are present or press a button was never good gameplay. Pls never add more.

6 - an orca is a mobile base of sorts. But ultra versatile ships for life out of stations should have been what T3 cruisers did. Unfortunately they didn't live out of stations well at all. Not until mobile depots.

7 - see (1).

Thinking about any major expansion I'm dying with anticipation for what CCP has planed for the Dust reboot on PC.

1. Agreed, stars are hot, perhaps a solar harvest array to add to a Citadel for fuel, or power sounds feasible. What would this add to the game? It could add a potent fuel, additional power, an added ingredient for any type of manufacturing, the possibilities are as endless as space.

2. I would like the ability to accept missions remotely considering we can alter buy, and sell orders, adjust production orders, modify P.I. setups, establish contracts.

3. Scanning down wanted npc for increased bounties in place of DED loot drops sounds like it would add a level of immersion to the bounty hunting experience. They could even be called Burner bounties, for the bounty hunter with no allegiance to any faction since anyone with scanning skills could accept these engagements.

4. Should a ship bonus give more isk simply for being in that ship at the time the bounty or rat was killed? Yes, other ships give out similar effects such as more ore simply for being in a frigate, barge, exhumer. Ratting is a form of bounty hunting and combat is specifically linked to the sci-fi bounty hunter across many games. A bounty bonus for a newly introduced ship would allow combat oriented players to maximize income. Scanning, mining, and salvaging have new player friendly skill ceilings to let them enjoy the game right away.

5.It seems theres a trade off of good tank low dps, or good dps but weak tank. If there was something that could boost damage projection the poor fits would be somewhat decent not amazing but better than what is available.

6. Reason I thought the Rorqual will make an excellent addition to high sec when it does finally come to high sec is the amount of resources needed to make them, what you can do with them, and operational mobility. I see them as mobile starbases already. These are super powerful ships and if everyone is super nobody will be, and they wouldn't be hunted like they are in low, null with Concord available.

The Orca is amazing and capable of many things, as well as the possible variations of t3 cruisers for nomadic game play.

7. It's hard to avoid thinking of lasers, bullets, rails, missiles when every piece of sci-fi uses these examples in books, movies, and games.

The game seems to move like a pendulum and what is fotm today gets nerfed to some degree either into obscurity or decreased popularity. I find it incredibly ironic that despite what was spoken by Carl Sagan is the exact opposite of what is going to happen with Citadels. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClhIKgt6ycI I look forward to Eve's first expansion for nomadic play, in order to get there we have to go through Citadels first and allow players to become bored from being in the same area.

Patently wrong.

You don't get more ore for being in a mining ship. You mine faster. The asteroids have a finite amount of ore in them, and mining them faster means they empty faster. The total amount of ore you get from a belt remains the same, no matter what ship you fly.

And what of the fits that already have good projection? They'll become better, so the poor ones are still poor.

I wonder why... maybe that's all there is.
